What would you say it is?
70s: Koloff ending Bruno’s 8 year reign 80s: Hogan beating Andre and ending his 15 year undefeated streak at Wrestlemania 3 90s: Warrior beating Hogan clean at Mania 6 00s: Eddie beating Brock at No Way Out 2004 essentially ending his Main Eventer run for another 10 years 10s: Brock ending the streak 20s: whoever beats Roman for the title, I doubt anything will top that

For 2000s I would say Batista ending the reign of terror. It was arguably one of the greatest storylines in company history and Batista beating him those 3 PPVs in a row was a massive rub.

Good point! If Cena had stayed healthy for 5 more days he could of given the rub for his year long title reign to Orton

Batista's crowning moment at Wrestlemania 21 goes down as the biggest rub in the 2000s imo. The many months of build-up towards their epic encounter, the match itself, Batista winning the WHC, and the continuation of the feud afterwards that culminated in a HIAC match to end the feud in a brutal & bloody fashion. No other story in that decade comes close to it.

1980's: Mr. Miyagi to Daniel Larusso's leg right before the final match of the 84 All Valley Tournament.

I think a rub is more than just a clean win over someone else.
Batista made Dolph Ziggler look far more credible than anyone would have assumed.
While not clean, Cena definitely made Punk look good in their series of matches in 2011, at a time when Punk was floating in and out of the main event. This feud solidified his status moving forward. On the contrary, Cena putting over Bryan did nothing for Bryan that Bryan didn't already do for himself. The only thing that mattered was the end result, not who put him there.

For your consideration, Goldberg beating Hogan in 1998 to win his first World title in the company's home city. He could've easily lost the streak and been depushed, but he was a made man after that win.

1990s: that time Terri Runnels and Jacqueline did lots of sexual stuff with Mark Henry.
(I remember that this happened, but I can't remember why this happened.)

Foley putting over HHH for the 2000s. Cemented him as a main eventer and he's had residual benefits from that for the rest of his in-ring career, maybe off-screen too (but that's intangible).
Also put him in a position to put over Batista.
Might be the biggest of all of you consider the "what if" of it never happening and HHH peaking at a much lower level.

I'd argue Bret putting Shawn over at Wrestlemania 12 cemented him as the Mr. Wrestlemania guy that he turned into.
