In a move confirmed months ago but officially set for July, BT Sports is being renamed TNT Sports because of the BT/WBD partnership.
So in essence…WWE will be on TNT!

So Samoa Joe is going to have to defend his TNT Title in WWE now? Not until July, so he can’t at Money in the Bank.

Too bad WWE doesn't have any TV championships. Joe can't become the Emperor of Television.

Travel back in time to the Monday Night Wars and show someone this headline (while also explaining the whole WWF/WWE thing) and see their head explode.

Somewhere Vince just crapped himself at the realisation.

Hmmm I only have access BT Sport via the app because it is part of my EE contract and pay extra to use it on the TV.
From what I have seen of the Discovery+ app it doesn't compare and is worse than the standalone Eurosport app.
Does anyone know when the UK rights are up for tender and if Sky UK would be interested again now that they are owned by Comcast?

I think there would have to be some tighter negotiations, especially with how the deal ended in the first place. It also wasn't like it was doing that different ratings wise on BT than it was doing with Sky and Sky Sports doesn't really need WWE when they're promoting other sports to fill the non-football slots.

Hmm, if they keep WWE beyond the contract end of course.
There's 4 BT channels and 2 Eurosport channels covered by the sale, and apparently, they're slimming down that number. Which means the space for a bunch of stuff wont be there anymore.
