You got any evidence for this whatsoever? Source: "I made it up."

I feel like "assume this highly pushed woman is as conceited as her character and relentlessly find evidence of this in her every public statement" is a bit of a recurring Thing across multiple promotions. People get weird about women's wrestling. It's just something you need to wade through at all times in these conversations and it makes them a nightmare because you get these pockets of like baffling hyperbole that seems like it's coming from a weirdly passionate and personal place. This is the same poster that compared Rosa and Britt/Hayter having possible backstage heatz to an "inner city high school."

Big Show was allegedly WWF champion in 1999 and early 2000. I had completely forgotten every second about it. Remember when Big Show was the first dude to beat Lesnar and then dropped the belt clean as a sheet to Angle four weeks later?

He was champion during that?!! Yeah their match at Armageddon was for the Championship. Bossman should have gone over.

She has to get a Japan visa first then have her drop the TBS title so she can go to Japan for 3 months(TJPW?)

Management has to get her more reps since she has the star power down pat already.

Everything I've seen from Jade is that she does want to improve, just kind of seems a tough place to be in with WBD (allegedly) wanting her around for projects

Been a fan since day 1 the very second she locked Velvet in the Figure Four and flexed her biceps (low key my favourite spot ever) and even I think the current run has drawn out a bit stale.

Jade as a monster gaijin for even a short stay in Japan would be money.

If she's sincere, then seriously, get the belt off her and do that. Not everyone who does this comes back a beast in the ring, but very few fail to level up from the process. If she can come back at even the level of, say, Rachael Ellering? They've got a viable main event wrestler.

Said this before, but her even working with Danielson at all is like example one of exactly why Jade's got the drive to make it. Danielson famously has frustrations with being a trainer, because he really struggles when a student isn't as enthusiastic as learning as he is, and Danielson is a work ethic machine. I'm sure he's mellowed out a little bit patience-wise since those days, but for Jade to continuously be working with Danielson says that she has the drive to commit to getting better over the long term. And that's reflected if she wants to get reps on a tour in Japan. Jade has the motivation big time; the biggest issue is likely to be selling the network on why she needs to spend a few months abroad to come back better.

One thing standing in Jade's way might be that TJPW only runs like once a week, so if that's her current option, it's not going to do a lot more for her than AEW can. It would still be a positive, though, because she'd have time to have longer matches with decent-to-great opponents.
The promotion she'd really want for reps, quality opponents, and money/prestige...would be Stardom. And we don't see much evidence thus far of a relationship between AEW and Stardom where Jade Cargill could park herself there for three months - my instinct is that that would be a problem for somebody, whether it means tense negotiations over who gets to run a match between Jade and Mercedes Mone (if Mercedes were still in Stardom's orbit at that point), or arguments over who Jade is allowed to beat or not, or if any booking restriction on either side gets in the way of the benefits to sending Jade there.
Of course, if she could work out deals to wrestle a bunch of places or someplace with less spotlight, that would work great.

So, no appearance on Dynamite, no appearance on Rampage, and the only champion not booked on the PPV.

So, no appearance on Dynamite, no appearance on Rampage, and the only champion not booked on the PPV. She needs a bit of a break and any title match would have probably felt forced and made peeps groan anyway. That being said, it looks like Riho's building herself up as the next challenger. And maybe Jade's most intriguing one in a sense that "I could actually see the belt change hands"

It’s odd because Jade essentially challenged anyone to face her recently. And you’d have thought she meant at the PPV?

I have to respect Cargill wanting to improve on her craft by going on an excursion.
She just needs to drop the TBS title soon.

So, no appearance on Dynamite, no appearance on Rampage, and the only champion not booked on the PPV. Honestly, even if it is a break because they realized she’s getting stale, that’s still an indictment on Tony anyways.
