One of his short lived looks…and it’s easy to understand why. I wonder if he used powder and/or Vaseline to help the sweat only for it to make it worse. You know the Ross Gellar method? HAHAHAHA! www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXG6NvBRcrIUT (during a match): “My god! These pants are burning up.” (Later.) UT (over the phone to someone, starting to cry): “The powder is not helping man. It’s making it worse.”

His Survivor Series 96 return match is one of his best-ever looks. But yeah, they quickly altered the outfit, I can't imagine it's fun wrestling in that.

Reminds of me Godfather setting the record straight on the snakeskin pants look Undertaker had one night, basically saying "Those are not my pants, that's all him."

Lowering the Bat-Taker as he held his cape out I felt was...odd. And I didn't like the lack of his big coat, no gloves, hair out of his face. He seemed less mysterious that way. I eventually warmed up to it but to me my favorite UT will be 91-92. Never evem liked the purpletaker much.

I feel like Taker's best look and coolest character were probably the Ministry period, it just happens to coincide with when he was pretty much his outright worst as a full-time performer.

I’m sure his hat was bigger too so his face was covered more which added to his look.

Always good to try out new things, but the whole look just seemed uncomfortable. It's no wonder they switched it around pretty quickly.
