Figured this could use an all-purpose thread for this Youtube channel that talks about nostalgic pop culture.

As a kid I always thought that Adventures was meant to be a prequel to SatAM. I figured at some point Robotnik got sick of being embarrassed, ditched Grounder and Scratch, got his stuff together and conquered the planet.

Interestingly, Sonic Christmas Blast added to that by putting Sally in it (in a non-speaking role but)

I was a huge fan of Wheeled Warriors growing up, I got up at like 6am to watch the repeats on Channel 4 back in the 90s so hearing about the shafting of the creative team, while not surprising, still breaks my heart. Given what we know about Chalopin et al, it seems par for the course.

I remember enjoying the show as a kid, but it was also one of those shows that I thought I hallucinated most of my life until it got a DVD release in the mid-00's. Just something about how it so quickly disappeared from the public conscientiousness after it ended, no reruns, no nostalgia, nothing, just made me go "was it all real?".
I do remember convincing my parents to buy me one of the truck toys as a kid. Then when I said you needed to have more then one and accessory packs and stuff to mix and match things they quickly noped out and that was the last Wheeled Warrior toy I ever saw. Have no idea what happened to it either.

The toyline was shafted by how generic the human/Monster Minds characters were. The vehicles were cool and all, but generic space soldiers with flesh toned sunglasses or satanic pickles weren't what people who watched the cartoon expected or wanted. There should have been a refresh of the toyline, with pack ins of Jayce et al to go with the cartoon being syndicated, and put out in foreign markets.
The 4 inch joes were out by the time Wheeled Warriors were a thing, and Star Wars was still hanging on, it shouldn't have been that hard for Mattel to get it right.

I initially clicked on this one thinking it was about Young Justice (momentary brain fart). Still, I enjoyed this show back in the day too, though never got to watch it regularly, so this was neat. This guy's channel is great.
