I was a huge fan of the Tom Green Show back in the day, although MTV watered it down compared to the Comedy Network version, and even I thought Freddie Got Fingered was terrible.

He did Pepsi One commercials before this, which is where I saw him. Then randomly flipping through channels a couple weeks later, I was like..."it's that Pepsi guy!" Overall, I really liked the show, but learned very early on to tape the episodes since, MTV was notorious about pulling segments and never re-airing them.

As far as the movie goes, it's far more entertaining to watch with someone who doesn't know who Tom is, and doesn't know what to expect. When I saw it in theaters, there was plenty of murmurs in the first act of the movie, and once Tom started swinging a newborn baby over his head, a lot of people started walking out, which made it absolutely hilarious for me.

Anyways, when Tom started his talk show...that's when things went downhill, especially when it showed that Tom got legitimately upset when people messed with him, or he would go off on little self righteous rants, to me. When his desk got destroyed, and he went off about it over and over again, this was when he self imploded. Then him getting trolled on his internet show showed that he clearly despised anyone who was having fun at his expense.

no that's right. I guess Tom was the most recognizable person in the cast and it was released at the height of his popularity. Although Sean William Scott was coming off his Stifler debut.

It's funny because Tom Green was so pointless in that movie. Almost every scene with him was just hey, he's on his own doing weird stuff because Tom Green. I'd heard so many great things about him but these two movies left me wondering why he was a big deal.
