I'd be fine with Charlotte and Rhea opening, but there's nothing about this feud that makes me think it should close. imo opening would be the best case scenario for WWE and the performers themselves. pretty much guarantee a hot crowd at that point! Anything after the opening can be a real downer and hard to get crowds back into, as the last 10+ Mania's have shown us. If Rhea/Charlotte mains. just playthis scenario. The crowd with have already seen KO/Sami/Uso, atleast Cena, Rey or Rollins (probably 2 of thos acts), maybe and IC or Brock and the women's 6 tag with Legends like Trish and Lit, plus current mega star Becky and another big current star in Bayley plus a couple more hours just screams Roman/Brock 34 level of of fans saying we paid if we're staying, we're going to be silent/shitting on the match. Sorry book better lol I hope I wrong because Charlotte is very over with the WWE fans and Rhea is molten hot right now and I think they'll deliver in ring but 5 to 6 hours having to follow what I put above....tough dealings.
Night 1 won't be 5-6 hours long. Plus it's forgotten that those two managed to turn around a hostile crowd at MITB 2021, which had been misled into thinking Becky was going to be there.

KO & Sami vs The Usos is the one that makes the most sense considering it's one of the biggest stories going right now.

In response to Fightful’s update about the night 1 main event, the Reddit insider Kermit said, “ Nothing has changed. Owens/Zayn vs The Usos has been locked in since Elimination Chamber.”

It’s not even close, it has to be the bigger story that main events night 1. The tag titles.

So Seth/Logan is Saturday. So as of just now Rhea/ Charlotte would have to go after that match which could open and the Bloodline tag story...yeah doesn't seems like a good idea and just puts the Rhea and Charlotte in a shitty position.

I's put Charlotte vs Rhea as the finale of night one, if only because I think doing the tag match the same night as Roman vs Cody would better tell the story of the Bloodline's implosion.

I think it'd also be more effective if they do have Sami/KO winning as well as Cody and they get a moment after Cody/Roman, besides the story element of the Usos being taken out earlier that same night rather than the night before. An interesting related question if Charlotte/Rhea main-events is if they have the other two Judgment Day (Edge/Finn and Rey/Dom) matches on Night 1 too.

I get if Cody would not want to "share" the moment, but the image of Sami, Kevin, and Cody with six title belts between them in the ring does sound pretty rad.

If night 1 has all three Judgement Day matches, you'll find me at the cinema watching Avatar 2. And I say that as someone with tickets to the show.

Dom standing tall over Rey while Rhea raises the belt would be something.

Dom standing tall over Rey while Rhea raises the belt would be something. Especially since Rey is being inducted into the HoF this year.

The problem with Rhea/Charlotte is that Rhea has been feuding with Edge and Rey for months to where her whole program with Charlotte feels extremely rushed.

I forgot that Rhea won the Raw women's title two years ago at WrestleMania. And that title reign didn't move the needle. She's been too involved with Dominik with his feud with Rey that her who program with Charlotte is a complete afterthought.

I think by this point, it has to be the tag titles. Nothing can really come back into the forefront in time to be worth of the main event night 1.

Sami/KO vs. Usos is the way to go. I always appreciate the women headlining but unlike Becky/Charlotte/Ronda and Sasha/Bianca, this year's matches haven't been booked like main event worthy bouts even if they'll likely be really good in execution.

Sasha/Bianca had a terrible build, including multiple 'can they co-exist???' tag matches with Nia/Shayna, and gratuitous Reginald involvement. It's just the match was good so that got forgotten. The WM 35 triple threat did get the main event build, but sometimes to its detriment (like some of the odd sub-plots like Becky's sudden need for crutches), though at least the crazy brawl on the go-home Raw was awesome.

Oh yeah, I guess I should've explained better. The build to Bianca/Sasha was terrible but it still felt like it a big deal/main event caliber match to me in a way that this year's matches don't.

WWE is really doing a disservice to its fans (me, in this particular case) by not announcing the card or main event in advance. I'm paying a LOT of money to attend this show and would love to know what the hell I'm paying for.

Maybe I’m mistaken, but I feel like this time last year, both nights cards were locked in by now, no?
