I like to pretend when Batista attacked Flair at the Flair birthday RAW, that Sting when that was being shown on the screen just shrugged and started eating the cake, finally he realized that Flair has always been a trash bag and had this shit coming for a long time.

The Horsemen should have been put out to pasture when Arn and Tully left. The Horsemen ended to me when Tully, Arn, Barry, and JJ all eventually ended up in WWF. Any version of the Horsemen after 1988 really didn’t matter to me.

Any version of the Horsemen after 1988 really didn’t matter to me. I always liked the 90-91 version best. They didn't do as well as they should've and weren't as successful as the 80's versions but I thought on paper that was the best version of the Horsemen. Technique, size, power. They really had everything. Flair, Arn, and Windham were all top notch workers and Sid gave them a heavy hitter to match up with the power faces (Sting, Luger, Steiners) that a lot of the other versions lacked as well as a danger element they really didn't have before with how much of a loose cannon he was. Other then Windham they were also all good promos. I also thought Ole also worked well as the manager and mouth piece of the group. They also just looked the most bad ass of any version of the Horsemen.

Maybe not 100% of the time, but there were times he laid down some promos where I was like "damn, this guy really had everything." This was a good lineup though, and Arn/Windham did work pretty well as a tag team when they needed a Horsemen team.

This was a good lineup though, and Arn/Windham did work pretty well as a tag team when they needed a Horsemen team. I always considered Windham an average promo. Not terrible or anything but I don't really remember many promos of his that were particularly good either. There were some I remember being alright but then there was others where he would stumble over his words. While Flair was entertaining and Arn was real cerebral, Windham just always came off as generic and to the point. I don't think he liked doing them either. I remember one time during this period after they had just finished having a big brawl with a group of faces, Jim Ross conducted an interview with them and when he got to Windham he just went "I don't have anything to say, talk to Flair". Like come on dude you got to do better then that. I really liked the Arn and Windham too. Loved those black and white promos they did with them smashing cars in the junkyard with sledgehammers. I was surprised they didn't get a title reign. Would've made much more sense for them to be the team to beat Doom then the washed up Freebirds. However it seemed like Dusty wanted the TV Title back on Arn for some reason instead as he had him win it right back from Z-Man as soon as he got the book. I didn't understand that decision as Arn didn't need it and he was more needed in the tag division anyways as him and Windham's feud with Doom was pretty hot at that point and the TV Title picture I don't think really need either as the three way feud between Zenk, Bobby Eaton, and Terry Taylor was more interesting and fresh then just going back to Arn being the kingpin heel of the division once again.

f*** dude what if there was a bit where Ric Flair just pulled dude's pants down and Sting had a literal horse penis and Flair was like "oh my god..you're...you're horse.." and Sting neighed sadly cause all he ever wanted was some horse friends

Honestly it seems like this only happened once at Havoc 95, and before that Sting was in the Horsemen, and they gave him an ultimatum of give up your title shot or be kicked out.

I tried to meme. I failed Honestly, Sting being kind a dumbass is apart of his charm. It helped made his ass kickings thst much sweeter. Plus it gave us this: Why has Randy Anderson selling that heel turn not become a thing over the years?

Because the Sting character often seemed to have brains the size of no brains.

I know it's a trope but how many times did it really happen? Obviously in 1990 & 1995 but I can't think any other examples.

I love how the Horsemen spent months on this elaborate ruse just for this one moment when Flair could swerve Sting and give him a moderate beatdown, only for Sting to kick his ass repeatedly in the weeks to come. Well done, Horsemen. Ya'll are such masterminds.

Well done, Horsemen. Ya'll are such masterminds. The whole thing made absolutely no sense. And it wasn't like Sting was even the champion at that point. So what were they even hoping to accomplish by coming up with this elaborate ruse? As you said other then getting Sting really pissed at them and Flair needlessly getting his ass kicked and on a few occasions, if not for Luger convincing Sting to let go of the Scorpion Deathlock, potentially severely injured by him as result.
