Sabu Hospitalized With "Serious Medical Emergency"

Sabu is reportedly in the hospital.

Squared Circle Expo released a statement saying Sabu has been taken to the hospital due to a "serious medical emergency."

From the convention:

ATTN: Due to having a serious medical emergency while on the show floor, Sabu will not be appearing for the remainder of the Expo. He is currently in route to a local medical facility.

All pro photo op for the ECW pillars pro op and Sabu/RVD pro op will be refunded CASH IN HAND at the pro photo op at their scheduled times.

Our thoughts are with Sabu and all of his ECW colleagues at this time as we await for some hopefully positive news on his status.

Somebody from Melissa Coates family posted that Sabu suffered a seizure and passed out in the shower while getting ready for the convention and that he is fine.

In a sense, that’s probably one of the best places to have a medical emergency since lots of help is there, still scary though

True, though it's bad if you need to get to a hospital since it might be a big pain to get from the convention hall to a hospital if the crowds are bad. Just kind of depends on the nature of the emergency.

I was at this event. It was a scary situation. I was waiting in line to get something to drink when the door flew open on the other side from the room he was stationed in for his signings, the staff member and Shane Douglas was yelling make room now hurry, He, Francine, was rushing with him up the hall in a wheel chair. RVD ran after them a moment later. Because he was in the other side of the room. Just glad to see the tweet that he was ok later that after noon but wasn't something I wanted to see happen at an event.

As drastic as the situation is, now I’m laughing remember when my grandfather had a seizure. I’d never been in an icu before. There was a tube coming out from under the sheets attached to an empty bag clipped to the bedpost. I thought it was an IV and told him he needed a refill. Shall never forget his face as he said “…no. I fill it.” Ad I can just picture Sabu giving that sake look.

I'm very confused about what actually happened. I sent Sabu a text when I heard he was in the hospital, he replied back 2 days later saying that he fell getting out of the shower and got a concussion but doesn't remember anything else. Next thing he knew he was in the hospital.
But people have detailed reports of seeing him getting wheeled out of a convention. So what is the actual truth?

Regardless he seems to be on the mend which is all that matters.
