I had been thinking about starting this one for a bit, just like the What If Wrestlemania series I had done. However I am interested to see which matches would be chosen by you all here, that should be changed at each respective Summerslam, and I will come up with senerios on how they would be changed, and the domino-effect to have the booming would look like for the next 12 months (basically from Summerslam to Summerslam).
Just vote for the 3 matches you would either be most interested seeing a different result happen, or truly believed that the "wrong person won". I will keep the polls open for at least 2 days.
So which 3 matches from first Summerslam get different results?
Bulldogs vs Rougesauses: this ended in a draw, and it's ironic the first match was between these 2 teams considering what happened between them a few months later. Should won of these teams won this night (if this is chosen we will do 1 more poll to determine the winner)?
Bad News was on a heel role and beat the aging Patera. Should the powerlifter have beaten the judo guy?
Rude beat another aging guy in JYD. Should the Dog get a proper ppv victory?
Powers of Pain were on a role as "dominant face team" here. Should Bolsheviks have stalled their push?
Ultimate Warrior crushes Honky Tonk Man to end his record breaking IC title reign. Should HTM have continued the reign?
Dino Bravo and Don Muraco was a rematch from that years Wrestlemania I believe. Should "the Rock" lol, had won a second time against the strongman?
Demolition was in the middle of their first record breaking title reign. Should Harts had ended it much sooner?
Bossman squashed Koko. Should the Birdman had scored an upset?
Jake Roberts beat Hercules with a DDT. Should the Mighty One had gotten the better of the Snake?
Mega Powers won Main Event, mostly thanks to Elizabeth using her "assets". Should Ted Diabjse used more of his assets to get the victory instead?

I went with Either Bulldogs or Rougeauses win opening match cause I hate double DQs I went with Honky retaining over Warrior because I think that would be interesting and I got the Mega Bucks winning the main event even though I'm a mark for the Mega Powers just to see how it would play out.

We are LIVE from Madison Square Garden in New York City for Summerslam! We have 10 exciting matches for you tonight, for the biggest event of the summer!
*Opening match is a tag team attraction between British Bulldogs vs Fabulous Rougeaus Brothers. The match goes 15 minutes and is very exciting, and Rougeaus manager Jimmy Hart tries getting involved on the apron but Davey Boy runs from other side of the ring to pull him off, then Davey catches Raymond to powerslam up on the floor. Dynamite Kid is able to get the better of Jacques in the ring, slams him back first onto the mat, then climbs to top rope and delivers a flying headbutt onto Jacques and pins him! British Bulldogs have won the opening match!!!
Second match only goes 6 minutes, as Bad News Brown pins Ken Paterna after a Ghetto Blaster.
Third match is also just over 6 minutes long, as Junkyard Dog gets DQ when Jake Roberts runs out to attack Rick Rude upon seeing his wife's face on Rude's tights.
Fourth match is a powerhouse tag team match, in which Powers of Pain take on Bolsheviks. Barbarian nails Boris with a driving headbutt to his the Powers of Pain his the victory.
*Fifth match will be for IC title, as defending champion Honkytonk Man is facing a mystery challenger. Honky comes out first, then gets on mic saying "I don't care what haminagoer they have facing me tonight, I will beat them" and out runs out... Ultimate Warrior! Warrior charges into the ring and immediately knocks Honky down 3 times with clotheslines, then bounces off the ropes for a shoulder tackle, then bounces off ropes once more for a splash and attempts to hook the leg for a cover. But wait... the referee waves off the pinfall, since the bell had not rang yet signaling the match started! Warrior looks confused as referee explains they need to allow Honky to recover his feet before ringing the bell to officially start the match. Once Honky gets to his feet the bell rings and Warrior clotheslines him once more, then Jimmy Hart jumps onto the apron and distracts the referee. This allows Honky to recover and grab his guitar, them BAM... he nails Warrior in the head with it! The Ultimate one is stunned, then Honky grabs him and gives him the shake... raddle... and roll! That is enough to pin the Warrior! Honky Tonk Man wins and retains IC belt!!! Honky is assisted to the back by Jimmy while holding the belt. After he is gone Warrior is checked on by medical officials, but when he wakes he is enraged and just knocks all of them out of the ring, then charges out of the ring and runs to the back looking for Honky.
Sixth match is "Rock" Don Muraco vs Dino Bravo. The latter's manager Frenchy Martin does illegal tactics to allow Dino to pick up the victory.
Seventh match is for Tag Team titles, as Demolition (with Mr Fuji AND Jimmy Hart) defending against Hart Foundation. Harts possible look to win when Bret nails Ax with a piledriver, however Fuji is able to distract the referee as Jimmy hands Smash his megaphone, who then nails Bret in the head with it, allowing his to pin the Hitman and retain the belts.
Eighth match is Koko B Ware vs Big Bossman. The Birdman scores several dropkicks and got a near fall on the former prison guard with a flying dropkick. However the Bossman is too much for Koko and pins him after a bossman slam.
Ninth match is Jake Roberts vs Hercules, where Jake pins him after a DDT.
*Main Event is the Megapowers (wwf champion Randy Savage & Hulk Hogan with Elizabeth) vs Megabucks (Andre the Giant & Ted Dibiase with Virgil ) with Jesse Ventura as special referee. For several minutes the Megabucks beat on Savage and avoid him from tagging Hulk. Only when Randy and Ted do the double clotheslines spot is Randy able to crawl to his corner and tag Hulk! Hulk charges in and punches the moneyman several times, then after a body slam Hulk tries pinning him but Jesse counts ever so slowly to where Ted can kick out when it should have been a 3 count. Hulk looks at Jesse confused, then Andre charges in and grabs Hulk from behind to choke him out, while Ted recovers on the mat and Randy gets back on the apron but mysteriously is not running in to help his partner? Elizabeth tries begging Randy to help Hulk but he ignores her. Lucky for Hulk, he is able to power out of the Giant's chokehold and then bodyslams the Giant, putting him out of the action! Hulk then hulks up against Ted and punches him 3 times, while Randy runs to the other side of the ring to grab the ringbell for some reason. Hulk then gives Ted the big boot, then Randy crawls into the ring and nails Hulk in the head with the ringbell! Elizabeth looks horrified, while Jesse had a big smile on his face, and Ted starts his big maniacal laugh! Hogan is now busted open as he crawls to his feet, then Randy hits him once more with the bell! Then Ted locks on the million dollar dream and Hogan starts fading! Before he even checks his arms Jesse just signals for the bell to ring! Hogan has been screwed and betrayed by his partner, AND Megabucks win main event of Summerslam! After the match Virgil hands Savage several hundreds of dollars of cash, while Randy then shakes hands with both Ted and Jesse! Elizabeth goes to check on Hogan as she is crying and the show ends.

Fantasy booking until Summerslam 1989...
A week after Summerslam on a Brother Love show addition on Superstars, Ted Dibiase introduces his newest business associate... Randy Savage! Randy comes out with wwf title and shakes hands again with Ted. Ted says "I needed to insure an extra insurance policy in our match at Summerslam, so I added an extra insurance policy by buying the wwf champion to our side! And everybody got a price for the million dollar man!" Randy says he was sick of being looked over despite being the world champion and everyone only caring for Hogan. So he agreed to take a little extra cash from Ted, and break up his Megapower partnership to show he was better than Hogan!
For Survivor Series, let's says a team with Hogan and Ultimate Warrior beat a team with Dibiase, Andre, Savage, and Honkytonkman.
During this time Andre starts getting more distance with Ted since Ted is showing more attention to wwf champion Randy Savage. Ted tells Andre not to worry about it as he is still his "giant".
For the sake of timeline, let's say British Bulldogs stay with WWF and Brainbusters remain in NWA/WCW.
Royal Rumble 1989 Randy Savage defends wwf title against Ultimate Warrior. Randy uses the ringbell against Warrior to get DQed, but stay champion. Final 4 for Rumble match: Hulk Hogan (18 and becomes match ironman), returning Big John Studd (25 who has eliminated 3 guys), Andre the Giant (27 also eliminating 3 guys), and Ted Dibiase ("drawing" 30). Studd and Andre renew their rivalry and battle it out for several minutes, while Hogan gives Ted a big boot and Ted crawls out of the ring for a couple minutes but still legally in the match. Hulk then assists Big John with working over Andre, and the 2 are able to team up to eliminate Andre together. It should be pointed out that Ted gets back into the ring, and Gorilla Monsoon points out that Ted just stands back to watch Andre be eliminated and NOT aid him. While Hogan is distracted with Andre leaving, Ted charges him and clotheslines Hulk out! Hogan, being pissed/sore loser, jumps back into the ring and gives Ted a big boot, allowing Studd to suplex Ted then eliminate him, so John Studd still wins 1989 Royal Rumble!
By February, Hogan has had several non-TV house show title matches against Savage that have all ended in DQ. Savage has refused to put title on line against Hulk on TV, so at Main Event show, Hogan gets "1 more chance" for title shot. He faces Ted Dibiase, where if Ted wins, Hogan gets to fave Aagaeg for belt at Wrestlemania 5. But if Dibiase wins, Hogan MUST retire! Savage tries interfering to help Ted, but Brutus Beefcake.comes out to assist Hulk. Brutus and Randy brawl, which allows Ted's Plan B, Andre, to come out. Ted holds Hulk, but Hulk ducks and Andre hits Ted by mistake! Hogan then delivers legdrop to pin Ted and get Wrestlemania title match! After the Ted yells at Andre for "messing up" and slaps him. Andre, having enough of Ted at this point, chokes out Ted and leaves him in the ring unconscious to cheers, now turning babyface!
Wrestmania 5 Brutus Beefcake (with Andre the Giant in his corner) beats Ted Dibiase with a sleeper hold. John Studd &.Jim Duggan beat Twin Towers. In a double-turn, British Bulldogs beat Demolition to win tag team belts! Mr Fuji trips up Smash with his cane, which allows Davey Boy to get the pinfall. Bulldogs & Fuji then beat on Demolition after the match. Jake Roberts pins Honky Tonk Man after a DDT to win IC title! This ends Honky's record breaking almost.2 year reign. Hulk Hogan pins Randy Savage after legdrop to win WWF title!
For a few months in that spring and summer, Ultimate Warrior starts "being friends" with Hogan and offers to assist him in his battles with Savage. Saturday night Main Event in June. Ultimate Warrior runs out to attacks Hogan and assist Savage double-teaming Hogan, turning heel. Brutus Beefcake runs out to save Hulk.
Summerslam 1989 featured matches...
Andre the Giant vs Ted Dibiase. Big John Studd vs Honky Tonk Man. Tag team title match: British Bulldogs vs Hart Foundation. IC title match: Jake Roberts vs Rick Rude (renewing their rivarly). Main Event: Hulk Hogan & Brutus Beefcake vs Randy Savage & Ultimate Warrior.
