I hate deadlift slams/suplexes of any kind, it screams “everything else during this match was fake but look how strong this guy actually is” and doesn’t look as impactful or cool.

Tag teams without matching gear.
If it's a one-off or a "can they coexist"/"opposites attract" thing, whatever. But if you spend more than two months regularly teaming, you should have matching gear.

They changed Triple H's My Time theme once, but they only changed one line.
On WWF the Music Vol. 4 (the best one btw), the intro lyrics go "Yo, tell me whose time it is now. Yeah just kick it in up here."
Unexplicably (and without explanation) the lyrics eventually changed to "Yo, tell me whose time it is now. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TROUBLE IS!"

The iconic Rock/Austin Mania 17 match having that awful Disturbed theme instead of Austin's most famous one What, you don't like: "I'm baking the lemon inside you. Stop baking I'm coming uhhh!"??

Were there any other differences in the Triple H theme other than that one line? Does it even qualify as an alt version if its just one line? Again, this is me being nit picky!

That weird mass of ring rope tape that's only in the far right corner of the ring, when every other rope goes smoothly into the turnbuckle: I really really wish you wouldn't have pointed this out. I'll now forever be focused on that.

Every single "hardcore" match involving a kendo stick at some point.

it's where the two ropes meet. I know that, but now it's just something I'll focus on since I never noticed it before.

Still not over the fact they messed around with Bret's theme when he returned in 2010.

Every single "hardcore" match involving a kendo stick at some point. Whoever makes these things is probably baffled that most of their income comes from professional wrestling and not those involved in the actual martial art of kendo.

One of the most annoying commentary tropes that I loathe. Usually a few weeks before Royal Rumble, we'll be having normal matches, someone will be hit over the top rope, and a commentator will lose their mind and go:
"If this were the Royal Rumble, that wrestler would have been eliminated from the match!"
Every single year without fail lmfao
Honorable mention to a commentator screaming "NEW CHAMPION! NEW CHAMPION!" during a pin, 99 percent of the time it just absolutely telegraphs a kickout

Two of my favourite matches have finishes that annoy me (even though they shouldn’t).
I can’t stop focussing on how weak the cradle is when Steamboat pins Savage at WM3. Yeah he had just been hit in the head with the bell, but Savage was with it enough to stand up and attempt to slam Steamboat, so he should have had more than enough to kick out when his leg wasn’t even properly hooked. Especially given the array of pinning combinations he had already escaped that night.
Then it always bugs me how quickly the ref rings the bell when Bret locks in the Sharpshooter at Summarslam 91. He had not even got it fully hooked on Mr Perfect when the ref calls it. I would have thought maybe they were trying to save Curt’s injured back, but Bret still wrenches right back on it after the bell, fully applying the hold. That’s when the bell should have rang.

I don't know if they still do this but the first match of Raw would usually go as follows.
Face has the early advantage.
Throws heel out of the ring.
Face jumps over ropes onto Heel and clearly has the advantage.
Ad break.
When we return Heel is suddenly winning.
--------
It's been a long time since I watched Raw but when Ibuse to watch it religiously this is how the first match of the night always went.

NEW CHAMPION! NEW-oh shit I was right..."

A wrestler debuting a new entrance theme on a big show for a big match. On an occasion like that you want the person to get the biggest reaction possible so don't switch their music up and maybe confuse people into not popping like they normally would. Debut the music on TV so they're already used to it by then. I feel like there was a specific instance of this happening but I'm drawing a blank on remembering who exactly it was. Austin’s Disturbed theme was mentioned and his applies here too. It debuted at Unforgiven 2000 with his official return. You definitely can sense the crowd going “YEAHHHHH ITS STONE COLD!! HE’S BACK TO KICK SOME A…….wait is someone singing?”
