The HHH, Big Show, and Undertaker themes on Vol. 4 were alternate versions, different from what was used on TV. Were there any other differences in the Triple H theme other than that one line? Does it even qualify as an alt version if its just one line? Again, this is me being nit picky! The theme used for TV had the singer sound like he was on the telephone. Mark Henry's TV theme had Mark do more backing vocals during the chorus, I think.

“Wrestler A has knocked off Wrestler B!”
Like yeah I get what it means but it sounds dumb stop saying it.

Yes, there are differences in the music itself. Here's a video explaining. www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3LoEEuyOdU

Every single "hardcore" match involving a kendo stick at some point. I have a theory that it was never meant to happen, it was all a miscommunication:
Steve Blackman: "Hey, for my match tonight I want to use a stick of some sort, will you sort that for me?" stage hand with a mouth full of food: "Can do!" Blackman: "...Kendo? (I best pretend I know what that is) Yeah, a Kendo stick would be perfect!" stage hand: "...Kendo? Um, sure, I can get a Kendo stick. (What the hell is Kendo? another martial art that he's made up I bet, just like feng shui)

I am cool with the use of kendo sticks, since it sounds nice, leaves impressive but relatively harmless welts, and is relatively safe. It's sort of in the class of cookie sheets and trashcans where it is definitely safer than chairs and arguably tables, but probably has more dignity than cookie sheets, maybe since swinging a sword has a cultural association already. I also know I'd absolutely rather get hit with that than a leather strap.
Of course, it still tends to be presented as (rightfully) less devastating than chairs, hammers, chains, etc, so it's preferable to me than how in the late '90s, we could end up with like 4-5 matches on a card with chair shots on them.

There was a female classmate, probably close to my age, in public speaking class during my community college days who was saying "feng shui" a lot in her speech.

Ring announcers who put the sound "UH" in front of wrestler's names that start with a vowel. "Uh-Asukaaaaa!" "Kevin Uh-Owenssss!" Sometimes wrestlers add extra syllables, too. Remember Sasha Banks talked about how nobody could beat Mia?

Tag teams without matching gear. If it's a one-off or a "can they coexist"/"opposites attract" thing, whatever. But if you spend more than two months regularly teaming, you should have matching gear. Even more frustrating when it's a guy who has every conceivable color of his ring gear and he doesn't match it to what his partner is wearing atleast color wise. Also hate when they match opponents gear this way as well. Both make me twice as frustrated haha

Another little nitpicky pet peeve of mine is when a Champion/s challenge a SPECIFIC challenger/s to a Title match, especially since they usually end up losing said challenge.
No problem with open challenges though cos that's a different thing entirely IMO. It's just when they challenge a specific person/s to a match when it should be the other way around IMO.

It really annoyed me at Mania that Damage CTRL didn't have coordinated gear... when they've been a group since Iyo and Dakota debuted... Gear takes a while to make and especially in the WWE they can randomly decide you're no longer teaming... but yeah if you are teaming for the forseeable future or teaming for a big show you should coordinate somehow.

“Wrestler A has knocked off Wrestler B!” Like yeah I get what it means but it sounds dumb stop saying it. It's like any of the WWEisms... they're fine on their own... but the fact they are THE ONLY way it is said which is the issue.

One of the most annoying commentary tropes that I loathe. Usually a few weeks before Royal Rumble, we'll be having normal matches, someone will be hit over the top rope, and a commentator will lose their mind and go: "If this were the Royal Rumble, that wrestler would have been eliminated from the match!" Every single year without fail lmfao Honorable mention to a commentator screaming "NEW CHAMPION! NEW CHAMPION!" during a pin, 99 percent of the time it just absolutely telegraphs a kickout I just want ONE TIME for that commentator call to actually end up with a new champion, like: "NEW CHAMPION! NEW CHAMPION! NEW-oh shit I was right..." I think it happened in AEW one time, I can't remember the exact match but Taz said New Champion and it actually was a new champion

Wrestlers fighting in their wrestling gear when they're in a ''Street Fight'' instead of their ''street clothes''. Street Fight being in the arena and not on the street I remember way back when the Ahmed/LOD vs. NOD street fight happened at WM XIII I thought it was either going to be like the previous year’s Hollywood back lot brawl or mostly done like the boiler room brawl. Instead IIRC the entire thing just happened in front of the WM crowd. Had the WWF done a lot of matches specifically billed as “street fights” before then? I know some promotions had them but the guys would at least usually wear their street clothes to tie into the name a little bit. It seems like at least as far back as WM XIII, a street fight has just been another name for a no DQ match.

It's just when they challenge a specific person/s to a match when it should be the other way around IMO. in that regard I absolutely hate the random champion vs. clear #1 contender but this is non title matches WWE loves to do. 99% of the time the champion will lose cleanly too. The mental gymnastics it takes for the champion to appear to want to do these type of things is ridiculous and always falls back to the overplayed heel ego

How pretty much every multi-person match needs to have the corner superplex/powerbomb/tower of doom spot.
