The shows have a lot of young talent and are very entertaining!

A lot of the CWFH guys are local to my area, so I'm very biased in my love. But guys like Ju Dizz and Jordan Cruz are extremely talented and I'm confident in saying they'll be signed somewhere sooner rather than later.

Watched CWFH each week from 2018 till about 2021.
CWF Memphis I catch often.Mostly to see what is happening north of me. Derby City I need to check out.
hate that Atlanta died after one set of tapings. Arizona lasted a bit. I guess with Avalon gone with AEW it had no one to run it.

I skip Memphis, mainly because the videos that show up in my Youtube recommends from them tend to be very clickbait-y, "Look who showed up!"-type videos featuring people who really shouldn't be taking up screentime.
The Derby City debut was pretty good.
Championship Wrestling has been on my regular weekly schedule for years. I love me some Institution, plus it's the only place I can watch Bateman somewhat regularly and they still feature Zicky Dice. The women's division has gotten a lot better since the reboot, it was godawful when Aron Stevens was booking. Do wish they'd stop with the "Oh we're gonna have a women's title soon!" bit, though. It's been mentioned as "in the works" since before COVID, either do it already or shut up about it.

They are a great example of what can be done with a bit of television production, but without spending real money on talent. It's just indie guys with slick production, but a good reminder that there's plenty of wrestlers out there hungry for an opportunity. On the other side of the coin, it does also make you wonder what Championship Wrestling could be if they, ya know, brought in top flight talent and spent money on that side, too. If I had to guess, it'd prob'ly resemble their short-lived Primetime Live iPPV series, but on a bigger level. Honestly, I like that Marquez books mostly people who more than likely wouldn't get much of a shot elsewhere. Not knowing who's gonna catch fire from jump is fun. Makes it all that much nicer when someone does. Plus it keeps things from feeling too same-y. |

back few years ago before teh Memphis end startedd we had Dustin on the podcast. He on and off the air explained how from who knows when,the 60s I think,until right before Dustin's first kid was born there was Saturday morning wrestling on Memphis TV.
So glad that is back. Got a buddy leaving in a few months to goto the Memphis wrestling school.

It is wrestling,pretty much unless you are dead or into CP you will find a fed that will let you come back. For example back when #speakingout happened there was 2 names on the list going around we knew thru the local indies. Byron Wilcot and Andy Dalton,not that long ago I was at a show in the south. Get in early to help set up cameras and I see one of those two there. Now this person is out of wrestling,has tried to make amends with all the people they wronged. But they were there to hang out. And let it be known if anyone had an issue with them they wanted to get it out in the open and try to resolve the issue. Like I told this person. Appears you have changed,good. Hope it sticks. We keep saying one of the Memphis tapings we need to drive up and attend. Dustin has invited us a few times. "just let me know when yall are coming" And really Memphis is 5 hours from here. Just finding a weekend when we got 4 or so of us free not just 2. |

The past edition of Derby City Wrestling was interesting! Talent from AEW, Impact, and other promotions. Hats off to Dave Marquez for making it happen.

For me Memphis is a fun comedic hour of wrestling. When it started I would watch it at lunch on Saturdays. Bringing me back to the days when I was 6 and watching wrestling on Saturdays starting after cartoons were over. Add in knowing how much Dustin Starr and the others BTS work to make it better each taping just makes me happy that this is on TV and on the net for all to see. Yea sure some of their talent I am not a fan of COUGH BRETT MICHAELS COUGH. But I still have fun when I watch. And yall just wait if all goes right this time next year Don't Fall Keith Hall ,who might change his gimmick name ot Chase N Ranch,should be appearing. And going to be so much fun watching a buddy get his wrestling career started. |

Michaels showed up on Championship Wrestling a few years back and was just...not good. Bit of a turnoff to see him plastered all over. Back close to 6 year ago now we got invited up to Lula MS to film/commentary for a Hollywood Jimmy show at the casino. Main event was supposed to be Jerry Lawler vs Lord Humongous,oddly Lord was barely 6 foot tall. We had the match line up at our table. Jimmy Hart and his band are finishing up their mini concert,out walks Lawler. He joins in for a song. Then Hollywood Jimmy and Lord Not so Humongous come out. Lord attacks Lawler. They get broken up. Jerry gets up walks to the ring and challenges LOrd to a match right then..... I tell Koby I will go find out. So run back to the curtainn stick my head in the locker room. "WTF" Get told Lawler wanted to get back to his new bar fast. So asked to have his match moved to opening match. Which means our main event was The Pink and Black attack(Cass a Nova Kid and Bonecrusher) vs TEAM PED Brett Michaels and some other dude with a midget After 3 minutes of this 30 minute "Hardcore" match I said screw this and went and rested in the locker room. Which hey bonus I got to hear Bill Dundee tell a story about Robert Fuller's most famous body part and a great Lawler drawing some dirty Disney Ducks story. That crowd had to sit thru 30 minutes of Bret Michaels. And I get it with the Memphis TV show dude is over with a big group of the crowd. But when his matches come on I go get q drink and a snack. TLDR Robert Fuller's Unit and jerry lawler drawing ducks on a chalkboard with units >Bret Michaels |
