Please, no. I never need to see another Goldberg match.
What even would be a proper retirement match for Goldberg? He certainly can't do a long drama filled match. It's either a squash or a short finisher spam.

Clearly it'll be Goldberg vs his son after his son yells at him for being a worthless dad who'd rather go around headbutting doors than raise him

Also it’s a crime Big E never got his meaty men slapping meat match with Meatberg.

Goldberg was getting blown up walking to the ring. Go home, Bill. 😂

What even would be a proper retirement match for Goldberg? He certainly can't do a long drama filled match. It's either a squash or a short finisher spam. Wrestlemania 33 was a perfect final match for him. He returned to a heroes welcome and righted the wrong of Wrestlemania 20 by putting on a well received match with Brock this time. I literally thought that was his final match at the time with the farewell promo he cut on Raw the next night but then he started returning for Saudi shows a couple years later. Even after that Summerslam 2019 was perfect and another good way for him to go out if he wanted his final match to be a win. That squash of Dolph was awesome and recaptured the old Goldberg magic of the late 90s. A lot of wrestlers just don't know when to leave well enough alone though. They keep going and looking for an even better final match. You saw it in that Undertaker documentary. He would have a shitty match then be like oh I can't retire on that one so I need to come back.

Vince is a bad person who's done a lot of shitty things in his life, but he'd never lie about a farewell.

Too bad Shane destroyed his own leg. That could have been a great retirement match for Bill.

Wild that that Roman/Goldberg match would’ve been our WM 36 main were it not for Covid. Wonder if that would’ve been his perfect send off? As in one Bill would’ve been happy with.

I've decided Goldberg should squash Hugh Morris/Bill DeMott for his retirement match.

I've decided Goldberg should squash Hugh Morris/Bill DeMott for his retirement match. I think Jerry Flynn makes the most sense as Goldberg's last opponent.

I don't think it would have main evented. The Brock/Drew stuff was really hot at the time. I think that was always going on last even if there was no Covid and we got a regular one night Mania.

Is William Regal in good shape and wants a retirement match himself?
