No matter what you think of WWF Attitude Era

The intro to RAW was f***ing amazing! I know I'm gen x and nostalgic and I get to a lot of people the Attitude Era may be overrated or aged bad, but god damned I still love that intro.

Thrash Metal riff, Fireworks going off,JR SCREAMING Welcome to Monday Night Raw, the King, thousands of signs .. then .. GLASS BREAKS!! I was at a couple of Attitude Era Raws and and I'll never forget them for sure.

The TNN ECW intro was fun as well. The intro song starts (Harry and the Slashtones??) then Joey Styles in the ring starting the show off.

It was a great song and gets you massively hyped for a wrestling show, even if the lyrics sound like complete gibberish.

And then you had the guitar riffs going on as they panned the camera over the crowd with the pyro going nuts.

What’s crazy is that We’re All Together Now and Thorn In Your Eye first appeared on Full Metal: The Album which came out in the decidedly more family-friendly 1995.

The songs still get me hyped up today— WATN is on my Marathon Mix playlist. I remember attending my first Raw taping in 1997 because the opening pyro scared the shit out of me.

Members of the bands Savatage, Anthrax and ProPain did those songs with Jim Johnston.

Not a big fan of WWF Attitude but hell yeah, that intro definitely took the edge over Nitro as the 'cool' show to watch.
