They are cutting 50 million? Guess they are going to cut Alberto Del Rio's "WWE LEGEND" Contract. That's it. That's the cut. when did he take the massive pay cut from a couple of billion dollars a year to only $50 million?

They could probably save half of that $50m by cutting Vince and Shane.

Well... UFC tends to cut fighters weekly and they let Francis N'Gannou, their reigning heavyweight champ, go because they wouldn't give him the amount of money, stripping him of the title and Dana White saying that Francis left because he was scared of fighting Jon Jones. Endeavor doesn't care about the in-ring product as long as they get profits and, if people like Becky and Drew get too expensive for them, they won't be excepted of getting cut.

I said the following about ESPN and it holds true for WWE:
âThey just paid a $2.6 billion contract for the rights to Monday Night Football, then spent a combined $155 million to bring Joe Buck and Troy Aikman over from FOX. And with the NBA rights deal expiring after the 2024-25 season, they're poised to spend an expected $3 billion to maintain their coverage of NBA games.
Remember that when they slash thousands of low-level employees making about $50,000 a year.â
These new âaggressive cutsâ wonât mean that Bray Wyatt is about to lose his job. But it probably will mean a bunch of office staffers making like $60k a year are about to.

I doubt it's just office workers getting the axe, but also executives getting the axe (as their positions are no longer needed). There is going to be a lot of redundancy. I also don't believe there will be mass releases either on the talent side. I could see some of the PC talent getting cut, but that's about it. Executives tend to be some of the most overpaid people for their roles.

AEW has more talent than they can handle, you can start releasing wrestlers you have no intention of using.

Just 10 staffers making 100k (not as large a sum in corporate now as it seems) is a mill then we have there severance packages and other assorted payouts. It will get icky on the business end for sure as they form together

Definitively no talents or anyone in creative being cut. In addition to Khan I got the inside scoop from the guy who sold me a bridge last week.

We just intentionally leaving out "Nick Khan also noted that these cuts will not affect WWE talent and creative teams." or what? lol if the company didnt have a history of saying one thing and doing the opposite (for example vince & nick khan going to nxt/pc to only observe then not long after a mass round of roster cuts happens) then they would get the benefit of the doubt and what they say would be taken at face value.

The one person safe in this situation is Ezekiel Jackson
He has no cuts.

Fair enough but we are also talking about a company that by and large will not have the majority say in this matter? It's not a sense of cherry picking it's a normal situation with any business merger especially considering all of the redundancy. I get the skepticism but if we are just ignoring outright quotes then we just continue to feed into mass hysteria until the prophecies come to pass or what?

Not sure how it works with the WWE, as many of the legends have merch deals that bring in the WWE money, but one of the first thing UFC when they were bought by Endeavour was the cutting of all Heritage contracts.

At least one surprising cut. Here are my guesses; Regal, Bray, Tozawa, Bronson Reed, Butch, Grimes, Dijak, Jiro, Ali, Quincy Surprise(ish) cuts: Drew, Balor, Riddle, Asuka Bare in mind I don't mean all these people and I haven't watched in over a year so I have no clue if any are engaged in important angles currently. I can see Bayley and Alexa getting the axe. Corbin and Moss might be goners as well. They'll hang onto Natalya and Tamina, one for the name value and experience, the other to keep whatever sense of duty Vince still might have for her father. Depending on the amount of content Endeavor wants to produce on the WWE side, a good number of those primarily on Main Event and Level Up could be gone. Anyone on a Legends contract will be let go (which can be particularly problematic if those on them are in poor health or financial straits without that income.) I largely agree with you on your list and might add Damian Priest to the pile (Rhea and Dom are the stars of Judgment Day and have all the creative momentum.) If WWE and Endeavor _want_ to make cuts to the rosters, they're going to make them. Why stop at only $50 million when you can improve the profit margin further?
