Today marks the 7th anniversary of Prince's death, so I thought I'd share a two hour mix of my favorite Prince b-sides, bootlegs and deep-cuts from my Go 95.3 show recorded live on-air in April 2019. Since it's a radio rip, that means it's worksafe and squeaky clean to listen to anywhere. archive.org/details/first-impressions-prince-special-2019Still such an absolute bummer that he's gone. His and Norm Macdonald are the two absolute hardest I've ever taken a celebrity death. Sucks that's there's still so much misinformation about his death out there as well.

Damn, this also means Chyna has been dead for 7 years now.
Still sucks that they are all gone.

One of the most disgustingly talented humans to ever walk the earth.

George Carlin and Prince were the two hardest for me. I discovered both in my early childhood years. I was fortunate to cross off seeing both of them live at one time or another off my bucket list. Very, very solid list, glad you put "Creep" on there as I traveled 13 hours to be at that Coachella performance, and it was worth every single minute. I have some of the worst pictures you could ever imagine from a shitty camera from that show, and also had the single most scary experience in a crowd there too. And before Alicia Keys made it more popular, "How Come U Don't Call Me" was my absolute favorite B-side for years.

I can still remember exactly where I was when I heard Prince died. This was the hardest a celebrity death hit me and I still occasionally catch myself being stunned when listening to his music that he's gone. I can't think of a single album he made that doesn't at least have a couple dope tracks.
