Everyone wanted Tully back in wcw at Slamboree 93’but am I the only person who thinks he would have lost his luster quickly. He looked bad in ecw in 95, had he went back in 90 but by 93 it wouldn’t have worked in my mind

According to Ric Flair in the 4 Horsemen DVD, they wanted Tully back but got Sid Vicious instead.

I think Tully in '90 would have worked just fine. 1990 in WCW didn't look a lot different than 1988, but I think Flair leaving the company was the time to let the Horsemen die. Even if they had gotten Tully to take the last spot in '93 instead of Roma, I still think the Horsemen were played out.

I think he would have probably delivered, though it'd have contributed to WCW's "nothing really changes here" issue they had pre-Hogan. There was quality stuff, but also a lot of retreading old ground.
