There's a chance they may own XWF and WXO as well as Hogan/Hennig from the XWF Taping was on the Hogan Anthology DVD and there was a clip of a Johnny Ace WXO promo during the CM Punk "tribute" to him. they may have just licensed it, they would do that for DVDs sometimes. There's NJPW matches on Benoit's DVD.

Back to Houston for a minute, I think there was a lot of fuzziness on the sale. Bruce Prichard in his Houston episode really burned Tharpe to a crisp over what he considered to be less than a fair purchase from Paul's widow, Valerie. Bruce said the WWE would have given Valerie many multiples over what Tharpe paid her and she apparently needed the money to care for their disabled son.

Gotta remember it is Bruce Prichard. Dude is full of more crap than a portapotty at a festival.
Everything I keep hearing from people that I would figure know is Tharpe bought the rights and now Billy has them.
Guessing Billy sees no money in the Houston stuff. Hell when that NWA streaming service existed I knew maybe 10 people that had it.
Seems like more people saw the Houston footage when it got ripped and put on Youtube than paid to see it on the NWA streaming.

Conrad tried to goad Bruce into saying who owns the Houston footage. For context Bruce recently bought a bunch of stuff from the Bosch family, but not the Houston tape library. Bruce got upset and finally yelled back, "YOU KNOW WHO OWNS THE HOUSTON LIBRARY!!!" Which led me to do a Google search to see who owns it. Billy Corgan was the best answer I could find.
