I've definitely been thinking for awhile Cena's pretty limited in what he can do these days. Seems like every match is he just kind of takes some light bumps for a few minutes, teases his comeback sequence, then swiftly loses, feels like he doesn't really have it in him to go all-out anymore.

Damn so Cena and Orton pretty much ended their careers within a day of eachother. Cena’s last match could potentially of been Theory at the mania opener lol

His last few appearances make it seem like he doesn't really care about doing some grand finale to his career and will just come in as a favor when he can.

Orton had spinal fusion surgery last year. Well the announcements of their careers being done I wouldn’t take Bob Orton’s quote in an interview that he thinks the doctors told Randy not to wrestle anymore but Randy will maybe come back when he’s ready as a retirement announcement.

Think both Orton and Cena will have a final run but it won’t be for several years, they need a lot longer to heal than younger wrestlers.

Orton more likely to do one final run than Cena Cena will maybe do what Batista did which was stick around for two months for a Mania match but Orton I see healing his body up fully for maybe 1-2 year run to end his career way he wants to

I think this is more about Cena saying he'd love to be a full-time wrestler again, but his body couldn't take it anymore. Not that he's outright retiring.
Still, I'd love to see the guy have that one last great match.

Yeah, I think Cena has a good foothold on Hollywood with commercials, movies, shows etc that he is always doing something so unless that all dries up or he just don't want it, then he's most likely to do something in between shoots like Rock/Batista did for their returns for a 2-3 month window and that be it He has no reason to do a 1-2 year run and doesn't sound like he could if he wanted to. His body has nowhere near the mass he did when he did wrestle and in order for him to build it back up, probably wouldn't be worth the effort

He's either wrestled most people or I just don't see an interesting match in it. Like, maaaybe Edge?

I'm glad Cena got the escape out to Hollywood in comparison to like, Tanahashi, who is probably more banged up than Cena but has remained unerringly loyal and committed to New Japan through the many years since and continues to put himself through a consistent wrestling schedule. It's just real abd for the body to go "Wow my body can't do it anymore" and to keep on doing it, and Cena's thankfully able to find something else to do with his life that isn't just more and more wrestling at the level expected of such a strong work ethic and professional pride.

Bob Orton bled all over everyone while knowing he had hepatitis. I wouldn't trust him to tell me it was raining

(which I guess he kinda has for the past few years but still) ... but like... I'm not sure the dude could do that Mentally... he strikes me as an all or nothing type of guy... if he's committed to doing something he's going to make it a focus and do it right.
