Sorry, I asked a similar question when I noticed they stopped using this name in favor of Zero hour. I can't find that thread, so just gonna say continue on here.
So is it just the poker themed shows that are the buy in and the others are zero hour? seems kind of inconsistent.
All in All out Double or nothing
Sometimes it's a blackjack battle royal, sometimes it's a casino battle royale.
So when it's
forbidden door Revolution Full gear Any Roh show
it's zero hour?
It's weird how WWE and AEW seems to have flipped on the way the brand things now.
WWE stopped calling it the kickoff and it's just "preshow" AEW has these wacky names for their preshows
AEW used to be the saturday ppv guys, and now it looks like they're just sundays now and wwe is the saturday ppv guys.
Also, "the remarkable" Renee Paquette?

How can it be inconsistent when it is entirely consistent?
Also Casino Battle Royale has a staggered entry order. Sounds like last night's "Blackjack Battle Royale" was just a regular battle royale with the Vegas theming?

How can it be inconsistent when it is entirely consistent? I’m pretty sure they were all the buy in until last year. And they’ve all been the zero hour until this one. I would have thought All out would have the buy in since it’s a play of All In but it seems 2022 it was All out: Zero hour

Looks like the only AEW-branded shows that used Zero Hour were All Out and Full Gear 2022, and Revolution 2023. Everything else used The Buy-In, including Forbidden Door. Every Double or Nothing used Buy In for its pre-show, so whether they're switching back to Buy-In for all their AEW-branded pre-shows or switching back to Zero Hour for the non-Vegas shows, that's been entirely consistent.
