Considering they were against Nuggets/Heat in Colorado and Vanderpump, they should take this as a big win.

Going up against the NBA finals, that’s a solid number.

That is a shockingly great number. Ratings are weird man. You never know what might happen.

Best number in ages against stiff competition but it's under a million so they're basically already dead.

Could Corpus Christi play a role here that more people had the time to watch it or isn't it a big enough holiday?

So can we now agree the Pillars story was a total bust? It looks like viewers want MJF to have credible challengers.

It also wasn't just the Pillars feud - a lot of the feuds going into DoN felt cold and things were unfocused, IMO. It seems like there's a more clear direction now with Collision on the way, FD, etc.

The brisk spring of folly and joy is over for AEW; now it enters the sweltering heat of the summer of its downfall. Hold fast to these numbers and celebrate them for what little value they give; when this company is wandering the desert, there will be no water to squeeze from them. Already, the vultures circle overhead, awaiting that perfect moment to strike, and AEW shows little but weakness to the dauntless predators awaiting its collapse to its knees in the sand. Can you hear the vultures? Can you feel their shadows cast the only relief upon you from the sun that these sandy dunes offer? That is not shade, that is not relief. That is an omen and little else. Tony Khan will rue the day and his bones will be picked clean.

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure whether I should make this thread or not because ratings discourse is a thing that has sucked for a long time but along with the fact this was a notable number, this was another reason.

I was expecting the NBA Finals to hurt it, the game was actually close in the first half. Glad to see it didn't and it's actually starting to rise
I said it before but the Summer is usually their best months for ratings, I hope this is a trend that can continue. Ratings have it a very even show throughout, happy to see MJF and Cole also getting a bump in viewership

For all the complaints about MJF, he and Coke had the highest segment it seems.
