Nearest I could find to Kevin Kelly espousing his views was here: There's a suggestion he "cleaned up" his Twitter after getting heat for this but I've no idea how valid that is. Not something I'd agree with... not exactly Mein Kampf either... at least people can read it and make their own minds up rather than posters insinuating some he's been on some kind of anti-gay/black people rant.

I'd imagine that digging into people's twitter histories for dirt is not something that the company, more specifically a few of the EVPs, would want factoring into who gets a job at AEW. I thought Kevin did an okay job commentating for New Japan, he's never been one of my favourite announcers though, something about his voice just sounds dweeby to me. I feel bad for him in that sense because no matter how good he gets at commentating I'm gonna hear that tone of voice and instantly think 'this guy sounds like a total dweeb'.

Yeah, I am still not clear what the issue is. I don't see anything resembling hate speech. He's being critical of the teacher's union, I am assuming the National Educator's Association (NEA) and their involvement in partisan politics. I wouldn't vilify someone for being pro school choice.

He honestly struggled before he found his stride in NJPW. I thought Don Callis carried them for a while. Honestly the best English team they had was Barnett and JR (only issue is the same as AEW JR he didn't give a crap most of the time)

I'll stick up for Charlton because he's GREAT as a WCW Mike Tenay type, giving great background and context. As a colour commentary guy... He's had some genuinely great lines. But he definitely doesn't have a broadcaster voice. There's a reason I switch to Japanese commentary for the really big matches, as they sell the moment in a much more satisfying way. But I like Charlton (and desperate to know about why he and WH Park seemed to fall out. And his books are a nice breezy read as well.
