As someone who got into MLW back during the pandemic from it's YouTube content, I used to dig it. It had decent production aesthetic, cool roster of random guys, and lots of potential.
Now one week it's a lucha show, the next week it's normal again, then there's no content for months. The roster kinda blows now, the skits are embarrassing to watch, Matt Striker stinks up booth. Who is this show even supposed to appeal to?
Fatu, Hammerstone, and Alex Kane need to jump ship asap

He's great in the ring, he's part of the Bloodline, he's got size. Dude could be a mega star.

I say this as an MLW fan, but Court is carny AF and will do whatever to make some cash and prep for the next deal. Partner with AAA for a random show? Cool! Tape things four months in advance and then spoiler yourself? Why not!

I'm still super entertained when I watch MLW but they gotta figure out their taping schedule

Court is but another in a long list of "But I'M DIFFERENT" wrestling promoters who pretend like they're anything else but opportunistic carnies with egos that could only fit in niche forms of entertainment like wrestling.
I say this as someone who actually even likes the guy.

Mance seems perfect to have a good chase and then run as gcw champion. I don't know if it's scheduling with other companies that prevent that. Anyway yeah I've only seen bits of MLW and they have some good wrestlers but agree they seem to lack identity. I'll give their upcoming PLE (ugh) a shot because that should be somewhere between bad TNA and lucha that I saw.

It's funny when they first started Fusion before AEW. There was a LOT of potential in the company. Than the real good talent went to WWE "Swerve and Ruddle" Than AEW took several guys. Than they went into trying to mix that Fusion with the Corpse of Lucha Underground. The should be much bigger than they are with some of the talent they have. Jacob Fatu is a star but hearing issues with him no showing bookings. Hammerstone and Alex Kane are both great hands. The tag teams I can't remember anybody beyond the Von Erichs.

They're launching an action figure line soon aren't they? I still collect those, and I'm interested in several.

A much lesser version of Impact, featuring an even more transient roster and some pretty baffling booking decisions.
Why Ol'Mancer hasn't caught on elsewhere by now, I have no idea.

Also, the turnover for the roster seems really high. I know they are an Indy and a lot of the contracts are probably short but these guys seem to come and go too fast. No real audience investment for most of these dudes especially when they are barely used in storylines if ever.

The night he got injured, same night Danhausen did, derailed both guys in a big way, but unfortunately for Mance, Danhausen's act translates out of the ring much more easily.

Kotto, now known as Snoop Strikes, is back to working an assortment of Florida indies.

The pandemic really hurt MLW. They really where on to something and seemed to be going places then having to shut down and losing wrestlers really hurt them. Like all companies with television contracts that had to shut down they fortunately had a tape library to air but the broadcast where so jumbled. They didn't really explain anything. They just aired the footage. You'd have a few weeks of current MLW programming then jump back tot he original but there was no introduction before hand to let you know what was airing, who it was or any type of history.

A place where Court Bauer holds indie wrestlers ransom via poorly balanced contracts?
