Today's the anniversary of Hashimoto's tragic 2005 passing at the age of 40. I was watching a Hashimoto compilation and came across one of his IWGP title defenses - this one against Scott Norton.
Their matches the following year are more well known (from what i've seen, heard and read) but this match really stuck out to me tonight as something special. Call it a hoss fight, call it big meaty men slapping meat, call it two of the best big men at the height of their powers facing off.
