So in the midst of the pandemic and the thunderdome era. We had this show. They decided to trot out a bunch of legends in front of zero crowds.
Hulk Hogan starts the show off ranting about an IPhone.
Teddy Long comes out and wants an Undertaker match, which they say he is no longer active.
Randy Orton talks shit to the legends. He talks shit to Big Show and Mark Henry backstage. Neither who fight back or apparently Big Show was unhappy how he was portrayed in this show and hence left to AEW.
Angel Garza is called a *aggot backstage. Yes, the * is an M.
Lacey Evans messes around with Ric Flair and we get the tease that he's the FATHER of her baby and Charlotte has a new sister.
Drew is backstage showing respect to the legends. More to come on that later.
Dana Brooke beats Shayna for some reason.
Randy Orton now talks shit to IRS and more guys backstage. I think THIS GUY is the one disrespecting the legends backstage. More on that later.
Melina and Lucha House Party, Party.
Keith not quite yet Bearcat Lee and Drew go at it in a good match.
Drew celebrates title win and then GOLDBERG comes out. He says he's been watching all night and noticed the MASSIVE disrespect he's shown all the legends tonight. So he challenges him to a match for the WWE title. Drew says fighting him would be fighting his dad, so he's good and he's passing. So in an act of defiance Goldberg pushes Drew down on his ass, as a way to keep the WORLD champion strong you know?
Recap: who booked this crap? This was one of the worst shows featuring legends ever they have booked. It wasn't the smartest idea as well, to bring in a bunch of older legends during the middle part of the pandemic. Probably the most non-sensical show of the pandemic era 100%.

Man the Pandemic era felt like a whole different universe, Half the wrestlers who appeared then would end up being released at the end of it

WWE having new episodes every week was a sign of normality. WWE having new episodes every week was also a source of insanity.

This is a shining example of how, even at the unique time when WWE was the one and only product producing new weekly television, it was so bad that their numbers even went down and non-fans, when given the prospect of new television, was like "Nah, we're good."
This is also the show that basically drove their legends to AEW. Such needless feel-bad disrespect that benefitted absolutely nobody and seemed to be booked in contempt of the audience who would still tune in.
On top of that, the COVID Vaccine rollout had JUST STARTED less than a month ago, so you had all these older talents confined into a small space IN FLORIDA essentially risking their lives... for that shower of shit.
And then remember the response after was "Vince is waiting on doing any good shit until the crowds are back..." and then the crowds came back and the show managed to get even worse until he was ousted?

2018 Saudi era right through to the brief regime change that’s also kinda still around was the darkest WWE timeline one could ever imagine. It really is astounding how quickly you can tell a show has been booked by VKM in 2023.

I didn’t watch this show but I did watch that Rumble and was legitimately concerned Goldberg was going to just keel over walking up the ramp after his 5 minute match.
