Battle of the Belts still did its best rating since BOTB 2 despite the weather issues.

Seems like we found what the base line is for a Collusion with a Punk match. This week will probably be a bad number.
I think the more interesting number will be FTR vs MJF/Cole in two weeks.

That's really good for Battle of the Belts. I thought there might have been a larger drop-off between the second and third hours but it looks like AEW kept most of the audience for the extra hour.
Quick, hide the numbers before anyone at WBD gets the idea to expand Collision or Dynamite to three hours every week.

I was just thinking.... what does SNL now do on late Saturday nights? I'm wondering how the BOTB number compares. I know its probably not fair to compare because the times are different... but just curious.

Heard there were some pretty bad weather issues that killed the feed for a bit? So pretty good numbers in spite of that.

Yeah, looks like BotB really benefited from a strong lead-in with Punk vs Starks.

Battle of the Belts got a way better rating than expected given they had a blackout for like 5 minutes
Collision did well getting number 2 on the night... they might have something there if they go with a Punk/Starks feud tbh

QT is ratings poison and Brody King is the antidote!

At this rate WBD is going to demand that all of their programming comes from AEW

Wow BOTB did MUCH better than I expected. I skipped it entirely because it didn't look that interesting.

For some reason after the feed for the show got cut off, they played a minute or two of Julia Hart vs. whats-her-name from last week. I have a tough enough time as it is remembering who wrestles what matches on what show from week to week, and that's for any wrestling company.

As much as I hear how bad it is, I didn't realize it was doing that well. I also keep hearing that once Lorne retires it's done.... I highly doubt NBC is going to allow that, granted the last time Lorne left the show absolutely cratered, so who knows.

Think it's just like how The Simpsons still does well on Sunday nights on FOX to the point where programming's been built around it or basically why Grey's and other procedurals have run forever. It's routine TV for a lot of people and even if SNL is bad, people are going to watch SNL because it's part of their TV habits. Raw's the same way, really, and Smackdown's now doing well as routine TV after basically drifting between a lot of places and days (and doing exceedingly well on CW before it got axed for all the Vampire Diaries/DC/Riverdale stuff).
