This thread is more light hearted than I assumed so its not really the place for Mr Kennedy's WWE defending interview in 2007, but it was the first thing to come to mind.

Greg Gagne and Mike Graham, may he rest in peace, could be all over this one.

Pretty much every WCW or ECW related DVD/Special produced by WWE has a lie per minute at worst, some egregious lies at best. Even when they were doing the Gilberg thing, they were implying that Goldberg's chants were piped in. What's hilarious is that WWE did this before this AND after to a far higher degree than anything that was suggested that WCW did. Outside of a small window in the Attitude Era, WCW always had far more passionate fans than WWE did.

The Ruthless Aggression series and what it claims is the reason they changed the name from WWF to WWE has to be one of the most staggering lies ever, even by WWE standards.

Andre was undefeated for 15 years. Mania 3 had a lot of exaggerations.

âWrestling was in high school gyms and smoky armories until Vince McMahon came along and made it something bigger.â
Yes, the territories ran high schools and armories. They also ran the Superdome, the Kiel Auditorium, the Cotton Bowl, Texas Stadium, the Orange Bowl, and more. Hell, the Dorton Arena in Raleigh may not be huge, but it seats 5,000.
Even if you want to look at the smaller territories, the Dothan Civic Center in Alabama seats over 3,000 and the Knoxville Civic Coliseum seats 6,500. Some of these buildings were being filled every week, not once or twice per year.

Hulk Hogan: ...brother...
Every time Stephanie McMahon does an interview on a documentary, especially when she talks about Paul Heyman.

Bobby Heenan in the "Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior DVD". He claimed that Warrior had his own dressing room while Hogan dressed along with the other wrestlers. Heenan also dismissed Warrior on the grounds he was in it only for the money. In Heenan's second book, he states that if you're in the business for anything other than the money, that you're an idiot. Some of his comments regarding what happened in WCW were also not true either. Love the guy, but he wasn't the most truthful.

Paul Heyman's entire chapter on the 'Paul Heyman' Blu-Ray where he talks about Scorpio's music as being "product placement" from Tommy Boy Records to explain why WWF started writing ECW checks monthly.
Literally every word of it is a complete lie and here's how:
1) 2 Cold Scorpio's music at the time with "Whoomp! There It Is" by Tag Team, a single that never, ever at any point had any remote connection to Tommy Boy Records.
2) Tommy Boy Records never had any inked deal in any respect with ECW beyond Perry Saturn being in a late-era House of Pain video (something he may have booked entirely independent of ECW that Paul wanted to use to further insinuate they were working together, the "Courtesy of Tommy Boy Records" credits at the end of mid-90s Hardcore TV was bullshit.)
3) No record label would PAY to have their music used on a television broadcast. They get PAID for the music to be used. That's like square one business rule, so the idea that Tommy Boy would be paying ECW to use their music is ridiculous.
And I can tell you first hand that there was never anything in print between ECW and Tommy Boy as back in 2014 when the Blu Ray dropped, I was writing for The Village Voice and had a strong relationship with Tommy Boy who were also based in New York at the time. The story on the blu ray made no sense to me and so I reached out to them to see if anything was maybe misspoken of and the whole thing was a blatant lie to explain away why WWF was bankrolling ECW and said in such a niche industry minutia way that absolutely nobody bothered to double check before they ran it.
I know saying Paul Heyman lied is like saying ice melts into water - but the sheer scope and range of this calculated lie with absolutely every single facet of it being untrue has ranked up there for me among wrestling's all time biggest lies.

David Von Erich had a stomach disorder.
That time Rod Trongard, formerly of *mid-80s AWA*, now working for the WWF, said "I don't know anything about the Rockers!"
Nova Invented (name move here)! Am I wrong or did Joey Styles imply that Mikey Whipwreck invented the Stunner too?
Anyone who called ECW fans "the smartest/most respectful fans in the world/the only real wrestling fans". I mean other than the "Boring" chants when something didn't involve weapons, "You Sold Out", and tons of inappropriate chants and signs...maybe...
Actually, the Tommy Dreamer never beat Raven angle wasn't true, as Dreamer holds a victory/victories in house shows in early 1995 (I know, TV or it didn't happen...)
Gene Anderson, Ole Anderson, Arn Anderson, and Ric Flair were the original Four Horsemen (yes, they mentioned Gene in a retcon leading to Ole leaving the group)
Somehow I don't think every Nitro was the greatest night in the history of our sport.

"Ninety-three thousand, one hundred and seventy-three!" I will always and forever believe that number to be accurate. The Pontiac Silverdome seated roughly 80,000, and WrestleMania III was probably able to squeeze another 10,000 onto the floor. Did they reach 93,173 on the nose? Maybe, maybe not. But I believe that's a much more accurate picture than the 78,000 reported by Dave Meltzer, which would require huge swaths of the seating bowl to be empty.

Also there's discrepancies in the number of times Ric Flair was NWA champion. Similarly, Bob Backlund did drop the (W)WWF title during his reign, didn't he?
