I gotta say, I’m enjoying them. it’s probably better if these franchises would just take long breaks and come back whenever they have new ideas instead of running them into the ground without a break. Less jarring than a time skip if time actually passed between storylines.
Beavis and butthead Futurama Roseanne Law and order Animaniacs
Cobra Kai That 90s show Fuller house Dragon ball super
How I met your father
I even softened on dragon ball gt just because I didn’t watch it directly after dbz. Hells it’s even been years between when I finished super and started gt
I think the British have the right idea. Keep it short and and have long stretches between “series”. I think the Netflix modeling seems to be following this

I think the Law & Order reboot has been mostly awful, with the exception of a few episodes here and there. The 3 part cross-over opener this season was really well done.

I enjoyed the revivals of both The X-Files and Will & Grace, and have enjoyed more of the new Star Trek shows than not, despite them being very hit-and-miss.

Doctor Who was dying a slow painful death through the Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy years. Fifteen years later it came back with Christopher Eccleston and has been going strong since.

Doctor Who was dying a slow painful death through the Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy years. Fifteen years later it came back with Christopher Eccleston and has been going strong since. It began losing public interest when Smith left, then due to the average ratings for Jodie, the pandemic and the licence fee freeze, it was going to be cancelled by the BBC had RTD not stepped in with Bad Wolf and Disney

I do like when a show/series/what have you takes a long breather and comes back fresh, it's nice to see characters you love back after a long while.

On the whole, I really enjoyed the Red Dwarf revival.

I don't get it. At all. It's kind of a small horse, I mean what am I missing? Am I crazy?
