Off the top of my head, Ole didn't stick around to be a Horseman in 93...
Oh wait. LOL. Arn looks pretty embarrassed, tilting his head to the side as not to be noticed with a career jobber like Roma. Flair looks like he's taunting Bischoff or whoever put Roma in the position, telling them how bad this is. Ole looks like he is there just to flash the sign and get the hell out as quick as he can. Roma is the version of a fan getting a picture with the stars at a convention where the promoter has a backdrop of the Flair for the Gold set.
I remember a WCW Main Event show with Windham, Austin and Pillman against the Roma, Flair and Arn. They came out to the slow stallion type music Arn had at the time. They were supposed to be faces but Ric and Arn came out looking very pissed off, I'm guessing having to be out there with Roma.

I know this was Ryder's peak but he still never felt on the level of Punk or Bryan. It didn't help that when they all got promo time in the ring together all he could manage was saying his catchphrase. I can't find a better quality picture but during the summer of 99 there was an ongoing Goldberg/Hogan/Sting v Nash/Sid/Rick Steiner feud and Rick really felt out of place compared to the other 5 guys. It would have worked better with Scott but he was out injured at the time.

I always laughed the fact there was only 3 of them active to begin with. When you look at this match itself. One guy was a former horsemen in Barry and the other was one in 2 years in Pillman. Hell Arn, Pillman, Flair, and Windham would been a good line up. I feel like Roma was just some big rib to them. I never made sense. Anyway to the OG post. Speaking of Shield I take your HHH and raise you a Kurt Angle.

And the guy that kicked off the original third wheel era of The Shield (Dean/Roman/SOMEONE ELSE rather than Dean/Seth/SOMEONE ELSE), Mr. Big Fat Fruity Pebble himself: Props to Cena though. At least here he’s just wearing his usual gear rather than trying to blend in like HHH and Angle in a, “Hello fellow kids,” sort of way.

That being said, that six man tag is bloody brilliant, from the sheer spectacle of all that talent getting their big spots in whilst the crowd go nuts.

I agree, those four are way out of Kenny's league.

IMO Hogan is the one who stands out the most here. Soon as he went back to the red and yellow, it was like he turned in everything that made him a star of the modern era and became a nostalgia act.
