Leverkusen 2–0 West Ham Liverpool 0–3 Atalanta
Not looking like an all-English Europa League final.

Liverpool have to rely too often on superhuman comebacks in Europe.

Stockport win! The Hatters are promoted again! Of course, everywhere will wank on about Wrexham being promoted and barely mention Stockport.

Good luck to Bayer Leverkusen who can win the Bundesliga title against Werder Bremen today. Bayern Munich’s 11 year domination will be over.
Spurs doing their absolute best not to make the Champions League even if the Premier League does end up getting 5 spots. Luckily for them they are 10 points ahead of Newcastle & Man U.

Leverkusen did it! What a job Xabi Alonso has done. I'm glad he's staying. He'll probably be Real Madrid manager within 2-3 years but I'm interested to see what he can do with this team in the CL and if he can go for the league again next year. Hopefully they can also keep the likes of Wirtz even if they're tempted with £100M+ bids from the usual suspects. I hope they get the Europa and German Cup too. Teams going unbeaten in the league happens now and then but going unbeaten in all competitions must be super rare.
In England even after today there's still only 2 points between the top 3 with 6 games still to go. On paper it's still a super exciting title run-in but everyone from neutrals to Arsenal fans to Liverpool fans seem to have resigned themselves to the fact that City are gonna comfortably take it now.

Yep I think it’s done now. Liverpool & Arsenal have given Man City the open door with 6 games left and I don’t see them slipping up now.
Arsenal or Liverpool could go top again next weekend due to Man City playing in the FA Cup semi final but won’t be for long I doubt. Hate to be negative but just tired of the Man City dominance.

It’ll be interesting to see if Alonso goes for the unbeaten record with seven games still to go in the Bundesliga. Obviously the feat of going undefeated in the league is a tremendous achievement but will Alonso rest players for the remaining league matches so his first choice team will be fresher for the cup competitions?

Obviously the feat of going undefeated in the league is a tremendous achievement but will Alonso rest players for the remaining league matches so his first choice team will be fresher for the cup competitions? The Europa League and German Cup have to take priority I would think. Staying unbeaten for a whole season would be an amazing achievement but winning the Bundesliga alone is already an incredible accomplishment for Leverkusen. I’d imagine Leverkusen are favourites for the Europa league now especially after Liverpool fell apart against Atalanta. Roma are probably up there as well now considering their European record in the last 3 seasons. West Ham v Leverkusen will be an interesting watch on Thursday. Bayern v Arsenal will also be interesting. Both teams hurting after the weekends events.

35 years ago today, thousands went to a football match. 97 of those were unlawfully killed. Justice for the 97.

Arsenal out of the Champions League and Bayern go to the semis.
Quarter finals isn’t bad considering it’s Arsenal’s first champions league season in 6 years. Just the league left but not optimistic Arsenal can turn it around.
Man City v Real Madrid is in extra time. 4-4 on aggregate.

Disappointed for Arsenal, but I think I speak for the room when I say football did not need a second consecutive Man City treble.

FA Cup replays are to be scrapped from Round 1 as of next season. This is largely because of the expanded Champs Lge format coming into effect next season as well as the Club World Cup in 2025. Sucks for lower league teams of course.
