It’s kind of weird how some movies it has commercials and for some, it just plays one long at the beginning.
I think it actually skipped a part when it came back from commercial.
I just finished mortal kombat when the scene ended with them fighting reptile and when it came back, they were at Lou Kang’s temple and Sonya cole and Kano just walk into the scene and I’m like “what, how’s they get there from Indiana?”. I had to scroll back on my phone and it looks like I missed like 30 minutes of story

Yeah, it's annoying to watch movies with ads... TV shows are different because, for the most part, the build the breaks in to the shows. With movies, they just throw them in within random spots.

Hulu has issues. Usually it happens with TV shows when coming back from an ad break. It will either kip ahead 2 minutes or start fading the screen a bit early.
With movies I have noticed movies made for HULU will have ad breaks in the film. Films not made for Hulu usually open with that three 30 second ads.

Damn it happened again. Not even during a commercial. Just randomly jumped to the last 10 minutes of Jumanji (Rock) mid scene.
I didn’t have this problem sitting through 3 hours of lord of the rings or the bobs burger movie

Tubi is terrible with ads on tv shows. As best as I can figure without using a stopwatch is they start the ads every set amount of minutes. While the shows ad breaks dont line up exactly that way. So you will have ads in the middle of a scene, come back, then the shows ad break 30 seconds later.
