It’s kind of annoying when the movies are spread out across different platforms. Especially when you don’t already have one of them. Or even worse, it’s an add on for a specific channel but still listed on the the site.
I don’t know if it’s just Hulu, but it’s really annoying that they list the movie but it turns out I need to also have starz or reelz or showtime or fx to access it. I mean, I already pay for cable and Hulu, but you telling me I still need to pay for premium channels?
Anyways, just watched Jumanji for the first time on Netflix. Great movie. Watched Jumanji 2017 (Jumanji 2? Or 3 if you count Zathura) on Hulu. Wanted to watched the sequel. It’s only on starz.
I could use their 7 day free trial, but I’m too lazy to sign up, then cancel, and unsubscribe from their emails. Also, my cheapness/guilt will make feel bad about not watching the other stuff during this free trial. I’m hesistant join any streaming site, if I can’t justify watching it enough to justify paying for it every month, or get my moneys worth out of the time I have it before cancelling it.
Thankfully , I still have my dvd/blu ray player and it’s cheaper to use Redbox than digitally rent it.

Isn't this the reason DVD/Blu-Ray collectors have re-emerged in the last few years?

Isn't this the reason DVD/Blu-Ray collectors have re-emerged in the last few years? That's why I prefer getting Blu-rays and DVDs. Hell, I still prefer getting wrestling DVDs despite having Peacock.

It's really frustrating sometimes in Canada, especially with linked stuff because sometimes the rights are everywhere. For example, when the Arrowverse was in full swing, two of the shows were on Netflix while the other two were on Crave. One of the four was updating weekly while the other 3 you had to wait until 2-3 months after the season ended. Super fun when they started doing crossovers.

Isn't this the reason DVD/Blu-Ray collectors have re-emerged in the last few years? I do know that cd sales have made a comeback due to all the streaming issues with Spotify and Apple Music

Trying to catch up on South Park in Australia was f***ing nightmare for a few years.. you could catch up for a brief period on SBS Ondemand, then sometimes seasons would be on Stan., others on Prime, sometimes Netflix…
I think they are all on Paramount now.. which I don’t have.. but I know there are in one place if I get the urge to catch it sometime… or get like free trail that lasts more then a month

Isn't this the reason DVD/Blu-Ray collectors have re-emerged in the last few years? That is me. Year and a half ago, bought a 4K Blu-Ray player and started collecting DVD/Blu-Rays. Better overall picture and audio quality.

I never stopped buying DVDs,blu rays,whatever.
Too many times I will see say Airheads is streaming on something and add it to my list. Go a week later and it is gone.
Plus all the extras on dvds/blu rays.

I just watched Babylon 5 on Tubi. They just have the show, none of the TV movies. Even the pilot movie. But whenever you go to the shows menu page they start playing a scene from that pilot movie.

Last night I put on my New Year's Revolution 2005 DVD. If I recall, the Peacock/Network version omitted the intro with Eric Bischoff going over the details of the Elimination Chamber. I felt it added to the event, especially with the music in the background. I wonder if that was included on the original PPV broadcast.
