I imagine NJPW and Joshi Talents will be on this one... at least I'd think so.

In all seriousness, having an Inoki tribute show is pretty cool. I hope Suzuki's on the card at least.

New Japan has a show that day with an announced lineup already So they’re holding a tribute show at the same time Inoki’s company is running a show, as well? So…..what connection will this show have with Inoki then?

Yeah, as soon as I heard it confused me, as New Japan is in Korakuen Hall that day in the lead-up to Destruction a week later. A good portion of their roster is booked for that show, but guys like Ospreay, TMDK and Bishamon are not appearing on the event. Though depending on the next six months, Ospreay and ZSJ may not necessarily be New Japan names for long.

Like mentioned earlier, NJPW has a show the same day. So does Stardom. So I would expect very little in the way of crossovers at least from the Bushiroad side.

Having Ospreay, TMDK, and Bishamon on the show still wouldn’t justify advertising it as an Inoki tribute show. Unless they plan on booking Fujiwara or Fujinami for the show, this is a stretch.

I do wonder if they'd try and book guys like Suzuki and Akiyama

New Japan has a show that day with an announced lineup already If I'm no misaken, DDT held shows twice during WM weekend in Japan and North America so this practice is common. Pretty sure they'll send a bunch to NA and book other people in Japan.

Pretty sure they'll send a bunch to NA and book other people in Japan. you can see the list of names booked already and see who they won’t be sending and it’s pretty much every Japanese wrestler. Okada, Naito, Tanahashi, Sanada, Ishii, Suzuki, Shingo, Hiromu, Shota, Tsuji…. It would be like having a tribute to Steve Austin in Japan and WWE sends Nakamura and Tozawa. And New Japan won’t change the card after it’s set. They don’t do that.

Kinda reminds me of when Puerto Rico did that Bret Hart tribute show and the only one linked to Hart they booked was Teddy Hart of all people.
