it's one of the thing's I've struggled with when watching A.E.W., it's always felt like WcW for some reason to me at least.

Rodman isn't just in town for Starrcade, but he was also included on a lot of the same AEW-branded advertising as the AEW wrestlers so I'm less surprised at this than I probably should be.

That seems to be on purpose, they actively play up WCW elements in the way their stages look and the show is presented. I don’t think of is as a problem because the company still feels unique to me. I could see why stuff like this plays into it in a negative way though.
