Me: “hey Tony Khan you might want to get your backstage in order!”
Tony Khan: “Never mind that shit. I’VE GOT DENNIS RODMAN FOR COLLISION!”
Me: oh alright then.

I mean another reason Rodman was brought in is his WCW connections I'm sure
Not exactly sure what he's gonna be doing though, nor would I trust him with a live mic lmfao

I imagine Jarrett and his team of goofs (including former NBA player Singh) will confront him in ring and it’ll end with Jarrett regretting the decision after his antics backfire on him.

What is it with AEW and the '90s Bulls Noted Michael Jordan marks Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks started a company with the son of a billionaire who was in high school in Illinois as the Bulls dominated the late 90s NBA. If anything, it's surprising that Jordan, Scottie Pippin, and Tony Kukoc weren't the inaugural Trios champions.

that is not helping me feel like A.E.W. is WcW under a new name. it's one of the thing's I've struggled with when watching A.E.W., it's always felt like WcW for some reason to me at least. That seems to be on purpose, they actively play up WCW elements in the way their stages look and the show is presented. I don’t think of is as a problem because the company still feels unique to me. I could see why stuff like this plays into it in a negative way though. oh I understood they needed to stand out from wwe's presentation style from the get go, just could never shake the "it looks too similar to wcw" feel to the shows. it's a weird choice to base your style on a company that famously imploded (for various reasons) other than "we can do it better than they did." for a lot of people it's not a negative, and it isnt. it's just something that draws me out of the immersion at least once a show.

Tony Khan:. "I've had enough off all of this backstage drama and grown adults acting like children. Someone get me Dennis Rodman’s phone number.”

And now I'm just reminded of the time he showed up unannounced at the local booze distillery in my small-ass town.

All things considered, the segment was fine, Jeff Jarrett really kept it all in check
Pairing him with The Acclaimed makes total sense for the PPV

How that segment didn't end up the drizzling shits is a huge testament to Jeff Jarrett.

It's really weird how Jeff Jarrett has become one of AEW's best signings.
