Does anyone else agree there's no reason Knight doesn't get a run with Seth's WHC?

So how are we liking LA right now a few weeks removed from Roman?
Seems he's stuck with Waller and Theory now.
I just hope they keep him on separate brands from Punk. LA needs his own star on his own show where he might not be overshadowed.

I am curious where he fits in now that Orton/Punk are coming in. I'm sure he'll remain a featured TV player but the main event scene just became more clogged, even if Randy/Punk aren't going to be on every show.

Personally, I don’t see much in LA Knight. Perennial IC or US champ sure, but not a main eventer. But I always say play the hot hand while you got it, so they should ride his momentum until it crashes. I wouldn’t put the main strap on him, but I’d keep him in a super prominent position
EDIT: Ugh, I don’t like saying “I don’t see much”. That’s way too dismissive. I don’t see him as a top guy, I don’t get the hype. That’s more reasonable I think

Clean decisive win over the bloodline. Plus gets another rub working with Orton. I think it's time for him to move on from the Bloodline please.

It's weird in that I still think the new WHC is a meaningless nothing belt because it's just so obviously created because Roman's not around and not dropping the belts, but the main event scene is 100% stacked enough to warrant too top titles right now. You've got: Seth Roman Punk Cody Orton Drew Jey KO Sami Brock (when he's around) AJ (if he comes back) Who can all viably main event, guys like Miz or Shinsuke who can be called on for variety, Gunther's literally just waiting for the right time to move up, and as per the thread LA Knight could easily move up as well if they want. It's an incredibly strong main event picture atm which makes the Roman misery booking more glaring if anything.

Orton has reached the stage of his career where he isn't going to get heel heat, too tenured and been in one place for too long. Orton vs Solo and Knight vs that youtube douche sound decent though.

Well, he finally has his post-bloodline feud.
AJ Styles is definitely different and someone else.

I assume Jake Hager will be there to bestow the honor.

I really wish he had a mid-card title right now just to keep him hot with the crowds.
Hopefully he can at least just continue to accumulate wins. The moment the jobs and L's add up, he's going to cool down massively quick.

The moment the jobs and L's add up, he's going to cool down massively quick. Dude’s lost a whole ONE (1) match in four months, so he’s really teetering on the edge of a cliff, about to fall into irrelevancy if he loses again. (He isn’t, but people seem to want to believe that for some reason, so whatever)

That's where my worry lies. He's still very protected and yet the lustre is still wearing off. That's why I believe wrestling isn't about wins and losses in the ring or who's having bangers. It's about the story they're telling and giving the talent something interesting to do. He NEEDS something interesting to do. He could win fifty more TV/PLE matches in a row but unless it is part of a compelling narrative it's not going to mean anything.

Wins and Losses matter, as well as being able to get crowds invested when the bell rings and to keep them invested until the bell rings again, and dude is in a story right now with Randy Orton and AJ Styles. Dude is still hot, though not as hot as he would be if he actually had beaten Reigns.

I doubt Knight wins the 3 way, since it's earmarked for Orton.
All I ask is a a strong showing at the Rumble. Eliminate a few guys or even start at #1. And the guy who eliminates him is the Wrestlemania feud, if they give him a singles match.
