There was a comment from Nick Khan on how he sees TKO moving forward. They wanted a model to sell itself as to potential host cities:
Friday - Smackdown Saturday - UFC PPV Sunday - WWE PLE
Which means the return of Wrestlemania single night on Sunday once again, like it last was for Wrestlemania 35 in 2019.
Are you in favor of this if they go back to this model for Wrestlemania? 4-7 hour shows once again on the one and only night?

Those marathon manias were f***ing brutal. Two nights is a lot better for convenience's sake. Only way I'd go back to a single night is if the number of matches and runtime per march significantly go down.

I feel like two nights has helped more people get booked and the show not yknow... be seven hours long, so I wouldn't hate if it stayed a two night event, it's proving to be successful
If they could do one night and not have it be f***ing seven hours though, then sure.

I would imagine Wrestlemania would be exempt from that type of sales pitch because it’s such a big money maker on its own. They’ll do this for other PPVs but not Mania.

If they did do it for Mania then I'd say do it on Saturday and let the UFC have Sunday.

I prefer one day done old school. Put the best on the card. Be 5 hours. I find newer shows being two days is not as enticing to rewatch

Honestly I've really enjoyed the 2 night Wrestlemanias.
I love being able to have two nights to look forward to, and it's paced way better than the thousand year long Manias we were getting before that.
I also really have preferred all the other PPV's being on Saturday, and I'll be sad if they get bumped back to Sundays. Especially if it's so UFC gets Saturdays, cuz I don't watch UFC.

I love two nights. It makes it feel special, gives me an excuse to spend another day with my dad eating delicious food, allows for two legit main events instead of one, and it gives matches time to breathe. I also prefer Saturday PPVs, but it's not a big deal if it goes back to Sunday.

Two night Mania has made main eventers out of AJ Styles, Bianca Belair, Sasha Banks, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and the Usos. It’s an extra opportunity to validate the status of someone.
At this rate, Wrestlemania could be a whole 3 day spectacle.

In an ideal world I would love Mania to just be one night again but those last few one night Mania’s were absolutely brutal to get through. Mania 35 was a decent show I thought but way too long and would have been a classic show if 2 hours and 6 matches were shaved off. That’s the problem with the size of the roster now as well it’s much better for the audience and the talent if it’s two nights.
Not so good for the wallet I’d imagine if you’re going to watch live though.

If they started it at like 2 or 3 in the afternoon so it would get over by 10:00 or 10:30, I'd be fine with one day (even though its way too long). That last Mania before the 2 night event started, I think got over after Midnight (Central) or close to it. That's just too long on a Sunday night when I have to work the next day.
That's not going happen... so keep it at 2 days!

One-day Wrestlemanias felt more special. Spreading it out is more likely to cause fatigue, and will erode interest in the main event on the last night.
What made the earlier Wrestlemanias work was the mix of short and long matches. It is up to the booking team to decide which matches get a 20-minute slot and which get the wham-bam-thank you ma'am treatment. WMIII had twelve matches, and ran four hours (roughly). Not only were there shorter matches along with the long ones, the entrances were truncated and cut in with interview/promo segments from the opponents just before they made their entrances.
35 was a slog that was balanced somewhat by the babyfaces winning where it counted. If the company is going to have to move back to a one-night format, it's also going to have to ensure that a) they can get the timings hacked down to avoid fatigue or b) make sure that the crowd, including the casuals, get to go home happy. Both are difficult, and one is impossible to attain if the overall booking is heel-heavy and all about stretching out the frustration of fans to the breaking point.
So, if the reports are true about Wrestlemania returning to one night are true, Trips, Vince and the rest of the crew have some difficult choices to make here.

I love the two night format.
More people on the card, objectively better matches getting more time and the chance I can stay up and watch Night 1 without work the next day.
If they must go back to 1 night, make it the Saturday not the Sunday. UFC can have Sunday if they must do TKO events rather than WWE events.

If they had to go back to one night then I would want to see the shows be 4hrs again. Which means less matches, but I just can’t do 7hrs and stay up until 1am when I work at 5:45AM on the Monday.

I'm not as knackered from a two night wrestlemania shows as I was from the 6-7 hour one night wrestlemania shows.
1am start to whenever it finishes (4am/4:30am for two night mania's vs 6am/7am/8am finish.) can be brutal at times.

I wouldn't be surprised if they just plan things so that during that first week in April, you had an early afternoon UFC show on Saturday that serves as a lead-in to Mania or they'll just schedule around it. I don't think it'll be that big a deal.

I'm just curious how the business model would look for a three day spread as it's laid out and what the benefit of that would be.
UFC live PPVs do well enough on their own. WWE live PLEs do well enough on their own.
Yes, they have the same parent company and I can see from a business/marketing standpoint the similarities in that infrastructure, BUT as we've seen on multiple occasions in multiple markets small and large both nationally in America and globally, the UFC-WWE fanbase does not have that substantial of a crossover.
And with Wrestlemania being their biggest show of the year, why would you take away a night of another massive gate that's a destination event that you know you're going to sell out, for the sake of sliding in another UFC special event which is going to do the exact same amount whether it's the weekend of a wrestling show or not.
It just doesn't make sense business-wise. I can see them maybe doing it the rest of the year, but doing that for Mania would be an immediate needless loss, especially with cities already vying to host Wrestlemania. The addition of UFC to that weekend isn't an incentive.
I've also really preferred the PLEs being on Saturdays, so going back to Sundays would be against my personal preference.

Back to one night and only the most important matches go on. 4 straight days of is too much, with Smackdown on Friday and Raw on Monday. Kick the Legends and celeb matches to the curb and concentrate on your main roster and put on a nice 4 hour or so show.
