They've proved in the past that they are a bunch of cheats In the Champions League? Let me disagree with you... In the last 20 years Milan had some great periods (the late '80s - early '90s above all, they were a near-to-invincible team) and when they won the cup it was just because they played better. But if you like to think Milan won everything by cheating, then go on...

Oh yeah, AC were a great team. It was a joy to watch them play in the late 80's with Van Basten, Gullit and Rijkaard destroying all comers. But the fact of the matter is that in the past AC Milan have been found guilty of match fixing. And that has tainted for me what is the legacy of one of the greatest teams ever. As I said earlier, it's a real shame because while people will remember their brilliance, they will also be remembered as match-fixers. And I do personally believe that they should have been disqualifed from the Champions League.

And I do personally believe that they should have been disqualifed from the Champions League. But since football is nowadays more of a business than a sport, you know that would signified less money for UEFA. Maybe 20 years ago Milan wouldn't played the League....

I personally think a Liverpool/Valencia final, for example, would have drawn more this year than Liverpool/AC Milan. Aimar, Joaquin, Aldez vs. Gerrard, Mascerano and Carragher? Seriously, that would have been amazing to watch. AC are a great team, I won't doubt that. But two years ago, they were a much better side.

Benitez going against his old team in the Champions league final would have been an awsome selling point

I have sympathy for Valencia, but... Sorry, I don't think they can draw more money than teams like Milan, Real Madrid, Man. Utd...

Are we seriously talking about the champions league final drawing money? O.k I'll bite. In 2005 Milan didn't sell their entire ticket allocation for the Ataturk stadium. Italian fans don't travel often. Aside from that this event will make around the same amount of money regardless of who is in it. Maybe viewing figures would differ in certain countries, but where they fall they'll be made up for in a rise of viewers in more interested nations.

Milan's victory was, let's face it, not deserved. I know people go on about 'well Milan were the better side 2 years ago', but anybody who says Liverpool didn't deserve to win both finals is lying.
Milan and Chelsea's victories this week show exactly the way football is going now, and it's not a pretty sight.
But look on the bright side, if this trend of Euro finals continues the final next year will be Arsenal vs. Barcelona. And we all know who's gonna come out on top...

anybody who says Liverpool didn't deserve to win both finals is lying. The Istanbul result is all Milan's fault. 6 minutes of complete black-out. They were already celebrating.
