AC Milan v Liverpool Wednesday 23rd May. Olympic Stadium, Athens
It's a replay of the amazing 2005 final & I for one am hoping for the same result. Liverpool to win European Cup number 6!
I think it will be 2-1 to Liverpool.
Predictions anyone?

When Liverpool win I will have a mother of a party coz it is the same week my buddy is having his birthday party. I will party for 3 days straight with a break to play soccer myself on the saturday. That will be punishing.
Liverpool goal scorers will be Dirk Kuyt in the first half & Harry Kewell after coming off the bench. Kaka will level for Milan early in the second half.

It's a tough one. Milan will want it badly, probably more so than Liverpool. But Benitez won't be stupid enough to see his team get rolled over, certainly not concede 3 again.
I'll take Liverpool to win just, 1-0.
Just as long as Chelsea don't win the F.A Cup i'm happy.

I want Milan to win 4-0, lots of liverpool fans where i live, and i couldnt bare the "we won it 6 times" chant for the next few years.

Ironic though, Champions League featuring a team that finished 4th and closer to the bottom on points than the top and a team found quilty of match fixing.

Our midfield has already bested the two midfields probably considered the best in Europe in Chelsea and Barcalona. Milans defence are getting very old. Add in that Steven Gerrard is capable of beating any team on his own and I just can't see your scenario playing out. |
