With the recent talk about CM Punk leaving AEW and rumors of him returning to WWE, I thought this might be a humorous topic to discuss. Since the outcome of Royal Rumble 2014 and Wrestlemania 30 plans were what contributed to him leaving wwe in the first place, and being upset at the time all the part-timers and returning guys (Batista, Rock, Lesnar) taking all the main event spots at Wrestlemania, wouldn't it be ironic if/when he returned, he was immediately given the Rumble win (exactly 10 years to when he left), and gets to main event Wrestlemania! He could then become what he originally complained about (returning guy taking main event spot). Hahha!

Even if they did bring Punk back for some insane reason the only people I can see winning the Rumble are Cody, Gunther, Rock, and maybe Priest if they do a thing where Balor used the briefcase to steal his contract.

If he is well behaved I’d be down for him vs Rollins for the WHC. Rollins can be the guy defending wwe from Punk, the once hero turned villain.

He should win it, only for Curtis Axel, Spike Dudley, Scotty 2 Hotty, Hornswoggle and Drew Carey come out from under the ring and eliminate him.
Roman goes on to face those five people at WrestleMania.

I don't think that match is super likely. He said in an interview after that, that Punk helped him out at one point and pretty much said he didn’t like what he became. If punk behaved himself and proved he changed then I’m sure that match is likely. Now that’s a totally hypothetical situation and probably damn near impossible to do in a short amount of time, but I think it would be dope |
