They played that perfect. Teased Jericho going hell and then it’s Sammy that aligns with Don Callis. I wonder what happened with the rest of JAS. Are they out of the picture? Do they side with Jericho? Side with Sammy/Callis? Or half and half?

They were very overt, but I really loved the parallels and homages to HBK/Jericho at WM19. Wild that 20 years later they can do an homage/followup of sorts to that beat.  |

Honestly just kind of over it. I really just wanted Jericho/Sammy to do a tag division run because the tag division depth in AEW right now is just dire, and this feud/these two as singles guys right now do absolutely nothing for me.

As soon as Shawn Michaels was mentioned I knew where this was going. It was really well done and presumably Sammy is winning a rematch down the road.

The only way that Sammy is going to grow or find himself at this point is to get away from Jericho, so this is a good step in getting that process going. Hopefully he can get something going with this.

I’m not sure why I’m supposed to be on Jericho’s side here? This is the issue with him as a babyface in AEW, his character is inherently not sympathetic.
He CAUSED THIS!! And now I’m supposed to feel bad for him?

I'd turn him face and keep him with Cool Hand and Daddy Magic. As for Jake Hager, give him back that purple hat and make him the heavy for another talent, and have Anna Jay strike out on her own. |
