No it doesn't. Seriously, it really really doesn't. Now, that 2002 series....damn that shouldn't have been cancelled. That's what I hope the He Man movie will be like. It's my opinion And my opinion is mine too. And we're all free to it. (Damn, that was cheesy. Apologies, folks.)

Best commentary on the Best of Collection was from the writer who had his best year ever because he wrote Friday the 13th part III and that episode of Masters of the Universe. I shudder to think about his other years

I loved He-Man when I was a kid (I still have all my old toys in storage).
Skeletor will probably look amazingly evil and very, very cool with a "300" type approach.

They brought back the toy line a few years back and apparently it didn't do as well as they liked so they cancelled it. But now they are going to make a movie? That doesn't make sense.

I hope there's a PSA at the end of the movie that teaches us some sort of lesson.

You'd be amazed at how many people still think that She-Ra was He-Man's girlfriend......

I'm sure it's been said already, but if Dolph isn't involved, count me out.

Sadly, like the New Punisher movie, we will look back and realize the Dolph Lundgren versions weren't really all that bad.

Funny thing, I was watching the mini documentary on the He-Man dvd I have (the 10 fan picked episodes) and the writers were basically told NOT to give these guys too deep a background or give the bad guys any real morals. Which is why, nostalgia factor aside, for more compelling stories and much richer character development, the 2002 Cartoon Network series was far more superior to that of the 80's. It was good, but I still like the 80s He-Man cartoon better I have all the boxsets except for the season 2 volume 2 set and I can't speak for anyone else despite all of the old cartoons flaws I think they still hold up pretty well. The new cartoon wasn't perfect either and I hated their versions of Clawful and Mer-Man and I didn't like the fact that Cringer / Battlecat couldn't talk. As for the 80s live action movie that's probably the only thing He-man related that I hate and I'm not really looking forward to this new movie either.

And I LOVE eighties cartoons, including He-Man.
