I thought the preview looked pretty stupid but something in my heart tells me the Shaun Of The Dead guys wouldn't waste two of my hours. Hats off to them if they didn't burn up all the good jokes in a preview. I hate that so very much.

It's a great movie. Not as good as "Shaun" but still damn fun.

Pfft, that preview was made for the Americans. *RRA prepares for the s***storm from the flag-wavers.* Besides, if SHAUN OF THE DEAD was a joker on the zombie genre, HOT FUZZ is a joker on 80s cop/action macho movies. Seriously, the poster itself takes a urine sample and splashes it on Bay's stupid BAD BOYS movies.

I loved this film. Only complaint that its just a little bit too long.
What's next for the Wright, Pegg and Frost the Spaced trio? I hear it may be a film version of the Marvel character 'Ant-Man'. And it's being made as a comedy. Hmmm maybe they if they want to make a comedy Superhero film maybe they should try 'Deadpool'.

Thing is, as much of a madman comic DEADPOOL is, that movie would be an action movie in reality. As for ANT-MAN, nobody can ever make that premise work seriously.....so who knows, it could turn out to be fun.

However, while there will be comedy, it's not going to be like a straight-up parody or whatever (Wright, evidently, has been a fan of Ant-Man for years). And Simon has said that, while he's interested in playing a part, he's not too keen on playing the main part.

I thought Hot Fuzz was great. While Shaun of the Dead was a straight-up comedy/spoof, I thought Hot Fuzz was a brilliant mix of humor, action, and drama. I can't wait to see what Wright & Pegg do next, as everything they do seems to get better and better.

Marvel's entire staff has said that.

*SPOILER*
I loved the bit when Timothy Dalton runs after Simon Peg but slips on the Sommerfield van and a spike goes through his mouth.
And you find out he's still alive, "This really hurts"

I totally didn't realize Timothy Dalton was in the movie until the end. Mr. Lesser-Known-James-Bond sure looks different in this...
