No, it's going to be what every single other Roman Reigns title defense has been for three years Roman wins, and the loser goes nowhere and doesn't look any better coming out of it, and he goes onto the next challenger It's ad nauseum. I'm dreading how LA Knight is going to lose and immediately get shoved back down the card tbh. I typed all this out once but I'm on my phone and accidentally refreshed and lost it all. Can't be assed fully retyping but basically; Roman's last challengers: Jey Uso, currently on the single biggest push of his career. Cody Rhodes, well on his way on his Cena 2012 arc. Will likely dethrone Roman at Mania. Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens, immediately main evented Wrestlemania. Drew McIntyre, here you may have a point but the only reason that match even happened was because it was in the UK. He seems to have finally turned the corner with his upcoming heel turn though. Logan Paul, was never gonna win but has been used really well before and after this . Brock Lesnar, do I even need to talk about Brock? So this idea that everyone who loses to Roman is immediately shoved down the card and forgotten about is just not true. LA Knight won't win, nor should he, but he'll certainly not be forgotten about and probably will be the one to beat GUNTER or Logan Paul for a title at Wrestlemania.

No because Austin had a clear upward trajectory after Bret. Even if Knight were to go after Seth's world title after this, its still a step down since WWE themselves have practically called it the "non-Roman consolstion prize".
They've booked themselves into a corner with arguably the hottest star they've had since prime Daniel Bryan since there's absolutely zero chances he loses here and no way of following up that isn't a backwards step.

Seeing as Roman has already been pinned once this year they could at least do a Guillotine tap out/pin to make it a draw to give us something different.

Edge- Won a feud with Rollins. Cody- won a feud with Lesnar. Jey Uso- Doing well in singles for the first time, selling lots of merchandise

People have a certain narrative that doesn’t seem to be based in reality. If the company has solid plans for you post-Roman then the loss to Roman doesn’t seem to hurt.
