Is that pretty much what Byron Saxton was trying to do the one time he had a match and won with his finisher?
Looked a lot better but still weird. I still don’t get how you would turn a full Nelson into a thing slam.
Also, the red velvet twisting code red looking thing was awesome and she should have won with it.
Between those and that nasty Code blue, I can’t tell if that was a good match or a bad match

Skye Fall looked great. Code Blue looked very bad. Match was very good before the Code Blue, hence the 'This is awesome' chants at one point.

Sometimes, I find that really sloppy/botchy matches are still really good, because they feel less choreographed and make it easier to suspend your disbelief and believe that these people's only goal is to hurt each other badly enough to keep the other down for 3 seconds and win the wrestling match.
That was one of those matches.

Skyfall was what Darren Young's finisher used to be in NXT
But Sky added a lift before it, which makes it more impactful

Yeah, the Skyefall is supposed to be a full nelson twisted into a facebuster. It was Darren Young's finisher in NXT, and Johnny Gargano used it pre-WWE as the Hurts Donut (don't know if he's done it since signing there).

And Matt Rehwoldt (Aiden English) showed many times how that move was supposed to be done, and it looked a lot better than Saxton's.

Should honestly be her finisher instead of Code Blue, if only because the name and impact of the move fits her current dark persona better.

And get dark blue gear instead of that Scooby stuff she keeps wearing.

SHe should have a top rope finisher she calls "Fire In the Sky." Then a pretty basic type of move she calls "Vanilla Sky." And then a really flashy innovative move called "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow." And lastly, a goofy looking move with a convoluted setup called "Iron Sky."

The big difference is that Saxton just adds that leg thrust that does absolutely nothing and makes it seem much more contrived than it actually is. Also, Aiden also used the Skyefall as a finish at one point, because why not?

Reminds me of how Heath Slater had, at the very least, three variations of finisher called The Sweetness that he'd cycle between. It was all a bit strange.
