I havent read many modern comics so, I dont know much, but are there any superheroes who's parents are still alive in the current titles?

If you count adoptive parents, Jonathan and Martha Kent are both alive in the current comics' continuity. And a lot of second generation superheroes still have living parents like Reed and Sue Richards' kids, Jon Kent, Damien Wayne, etc. Miles Morales also has both parents still alive.
Then you've got heroes who are the children of supervillains and often come into conflict with them like Jackson Hyde (son of Black Manta), Ravager (daughter of Deathstroke), Cassandra Cain (daughter of David Cain and Lady Shiva), and Stephanie Brown (daughter of Cluemaster).

Nightcrawler's parents, Mystique and Azazel are still alive, and she was also Rogue's adoptive mother.

I don't remember if her mother was ever really mentioned, but Polaris is another one. She's the daughter of Magneto.
Depending on the comics or media, Supergirl's birth parents, Zor-El and Alura In-Ze survive Krypton's destruction.

Cyborg's dad is still alive, I think. They have a complicated relationship to say the least, but he's not (I believe?) dead.

Unless I've missed something, I think the Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle's parents as well as grandma are alive.

Kitty Pryde's parents, I think. They were killed during "Age of Apocalypse" but that was an alternate world.

Shadowcat's parents are alive, I think. And she has a good relationship with them still. How old is Kitty now? I know when I dropped Excalibur she was 21 or 22. Seem to remember a birthday issue where she went to a pub and got drunk. I dont read many superhero comics anymore. So can't think of recent examples. |

like most of hte Batgirl's Barbara Gordon's parents are also alive.
Ms. Marvel's parents.
Beast's parents were both alive and never stated to have died... so Edna and Norton are probably still kicking around.
Sue and Reed's kids...

This thread is insensitive to those superheroes who never had any parents at all. There's got be to a few of them. Like a sentient lamp who was created as the side effect of some global disaster involving magic.
