I bloody hope so. I'd have had him drop the belts last year personally as I'm long past caring about Roman being champion tbh. But until I see him finally lose the belt I won't believe it.

Kind of the brilliance of running this back again. It’s very believable Roman retains again. He either goes on and breaks hogans record or Cody gets his moment.

I want to say yes, he drops it but I’m really not sure.

I have to be honest I've stopped caring. I never got the "Roman is good now" 180 that most fans seem to have done on him, I still find him unbelievably dull and uninteresting and the Bloodline story has been so played out for so long. I can't work out if it's better for my enjoyment or worse that he f***s off for long periods and is never around but I haven't given a damn about anything Roman or the rest of the Bloodline, Jey included, have done since Mania. I don't care about the WWE title anymore because there's no point in getting invested in a title that's never around, never leaves Roman's shoulder, but he never even wins legitimately or has particularly interesting matches, promos, stories etc. He's made Cena's run look better in hindsight, and half of me honestly thinks HHH is doing this to try make his own Reign of Terror look better in hindsight. And the Heavyweight title is too new and unestablished. The midcard titles hold my interest more.

At this point Roman could drop the belts to basically anyone and I'm not sure how much I'd care. I said the other day I don't want it to be Punk but the more I think the more I feel like it doesn't matter. It's been 3 f***ing years of "ACKNOWLEDGE ME" promos, overly drawn out "The Bloodline has tension!!" segments, plodding matches and overbooked finishes. The WWE Title no longer even feels like part of the show to me so f*** it, keep it, drop it, who cares, doesn't matter anymore.
