I always enjoy a bit of schadenfreude when Kadarius Toney has butterfingers. Sickos.jpg

And just like that, the Broncos are one game back of the Chiefs in the West.

The Bills have broken Patrick Mahomes Or is it Toney 🤔 The offensive offsides call did it... basically saying that is never called, you'll get a warning before a call..Toney checked with the ref and was told he was fine...then the same ref flagged him, that's dirty pool.

The Kansas City Chiefs are not exactly covering themselves in glory after this afternoon’s loss. Patrick Mahomes, in particular, basically said during his post-game press conference that the officials should have let the offsides penalty slide because it was a great play by Travis Kelce.
I’m just baffled by the reaction from the Chiefs. Offsides is not a judgment call, it’s not some 50/50 decision like holding or pass interference. Kadarius Toney lined up offside, that’s just the end of the discussion. And spare me with the “they should have warned him!” stuff that Mahomes and Reid are spinning. It shouldn’t be up to the official to tell a guy he’s lined up a foot in front of the line of scrimmage.
I didn’t hear this much whining after Dee Ford lined up offside in the fourth quarter of the 2018 AFC Championship Game. Part of me wonders if the Chiefs are realizing it’s really hard to repeat as champions, they’re struggling, and they’re not familiar with how to handle adversity, so they lash out at the nearest target.

Sounds like they got that Steve Kerr syndrome. Coolest dudes in the room when they’re winning and looking for excuses and blaming everybody else when they’re losing.

He didn't say a damn thing about MVS being tackled with the ball in the air last week... Toney literally pointed at the ref and was told he was fine... The Chiefs wear the black hat so people hate them but God damn, they got hosed on that.

Mahomes shouldn't be berating the refs when they won him a SB last year. They'll come through when he needs them. Toney, not so much.

The Chiefs wear the black hat so people hate them but God damn, they got hosed on that. Again, it’s not a judgment call. Toney was offside by a full foot. The referee in the post-game pool interview said he was so far offside they couldn’t even see the ball on the line of scrimmage. But according to Patrick Mahomes, that’s supposed to be ignored because the end result was a fun play. I just saw a video of Mahomes still pouting about the call even while shaking hands with Josh Allen after the game. Is this really how Mahomes is going to handle adversity? By whining and complaining like he’s entitled to the refs to look the other way because the play was on the highlight reel? Maybe Mahomes should have looked at the three plays after the offsides call, when he still had a chance at a game-tying or game-winning drive but instead threw three straight incompletions.

This keeps up and he'll get the same comparison to Brady about handling defeat
