Again, it’s not a judgment call. Toney was offside by a full foot. The referee in the post-game pool interview said he was so far offside they couldn’t even see the ball on the line of scrimmage. But according to Patrick Mahomes, that’s supposed to be ignored because the end result was a fun play. I just saw a video of Mahomes still pouting about the call even while shaking hands with Josh Allen after the game. Is this really how Mahomes is going to handle adversity? By whining and complaining like he’s entitled to the refs to look the other way because the play was on the highlight reel? Maybe Mahomes should have looked at the three plays after the offsides call, when he still had a chance at a game-tying or game-winning drive but instead threw three straight incompletions. This keeps up and he'll get the same comparison to Brady about handling defeat Incredibly competitive dude that doesn't like losing...is pissed off. Shocking

The Kansas City Chiefs are not exactly covering themselves in glory after this afternoon’s loss. Patrick Mahomes, in particular, basically said during his post-game press conference that the officials should have let the offsides penalty slide because it was a great play by Travis Kelce. I’m just baffled by the reaction from the Chiefs. Offsides is not a judgment call, it’s not some 50/50 decision like holding or pass interference. Kadarius Toney lined up offside, that’s just the end of the discussion. And spare me with the “they should have warned him!” stuff that Mahomes and Reid are spinning. It shouldn’t be up to the official to tell a guy he’s lined up a foot in front of the line of scrimmage. I didn’t hear this much whining after Dee Ford lined up offside in the fourth quarter of the 2018 AFC Championship Game. Part of me wonders if the Chiefs are realizing it’s really hard to repeat as champions, they’re struggling, and they’re not familiar with how to handle adversity, so they lash out at the nearest target. He didn't say a damn thing about MVS being tackled with the ball in the air last week...
Toney literally pointed at the ref and was told he was fine... The Chiefs wear the black hat so people hate them but God damn, they got hosed on that. Why do people keep ignoring the late hit call on Mahomes earlier, when Mahomes was still in bounds and not sliding? Or MVS being stopped in bounds, but the refs saying he made it to the sidelines so the clock is stopped? The refs were shite in that Chiefs vs Packers game. The Chiefs didn't get f***ed. Toney was completely offsides, the Chiefs didn't get hosed.

Also shout out Brandon Aubrey. Brett Maher still got me traumatized when it comes to these kickers so watching him nail that 60 yarder and out score Jalen Hurts 🤌

Of the 8 Super Bowl teams the last four seasons, five of them had positive penalty yard differentials. The three that didn’t? Chiefs, Chiefs, Chiefs. And the most recent non-Chiefs Super Bowl contestant to have a negative penalty differential was the 2018 Rams. It’s objectively not true.

Give me a break with that. Lmao

"I can't tell if he's a crybaby that has good PR or a nice guy that's having a bad day." Which hit me odd because she said almost exactly the same thing about Aaron Rodgers like 15 years ago. And he seemed to be the jerkass with a good PR team back before he gave up trying to hide it.

And he seemed to be the jerkass with a good PR team back before he gave up trying to hide it. He's having a frustrating season...his WRs have literally cost him 4 wins by being inept. Since Collinsworth had a meltdown in week 1 the Chiefs OL has been targeted for a huge number of penalties, penalties they aren't talented enough to overcome because of said WRs. They got jobbed on the non call PI at the end against GB, didn't say a word..then this game happened. Mahomes has said all the right things all year, it just boiled over, it isn't just that call, it's everything. Dude is Uber competitive, hates losing and hit his breaking point. I just don't get what people want. Dude is flippant about losing he doesn't care, dude hates losing and shows emotion and then he's a crybaby. But a spade is a spade 99% of fans like it because Mahomes has been beating their teams ass for 6 years. So that's really what it comes down to.

The “showing emotion” you’re talking about is bitching at Josh Allen on the field like he has anything to do with anything and throwing a hissy fit at the post game conference.
Buuut I don’t really care enough about Mahomes or the Chiefs to keep talking about this. How bout them Cowboys huh!? Nobody? Ok.

He's friends with Allen my guess is Allen said something to him about it and you aren't getting that part with edits because the convo started with Mahomes congratulating him.

I just saw that Vikings/Raiders score. WTF was that? The only other 3-0 game that I ever saw was when I was a kid and the post Joe Gibbs Super Bowl Redskins played the Jets when they sucked donkey dick and no joke they announced the play of the game with a graphic and it was a trash bag blowing in the wind on the field. 😂😂😂😂
